Wonderful dinner after a hike at Pelham Bay Park, fast service, we enjoyed sharing Shrimp Scampi, Arugula salad with garlic knots. Very fresh and delicious meal. Proprietor was very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return!

Definitely the best pizza place on the Island! Service is quick and friendly. We called at rush hour on a Friday and our pizza and wings were ready in 20 minutes. The grandma’s pie is divine. Perfectly crisp and with meatballs(they’re fantastic) and mushroom. I’m drooling just thinking about it. Good thing there’s leftovers. We love wings with our pizza(I’m a Buffalo guy) and my only complaint is that they only serve breaded wings that are on the small side. I’d love to have some serious fried wings tossed in their hot sauce, which is delicious by itself. The menu is diverse and we look forward to trying everything else they have to offer. They also serve slices which is a nice NY trait. Sometimes you don’t need a whole pie. Perfect place for a quick bite before hopping on the bus.

Living on City Island, choices for pizza is extremely limited. That being said, Filomena’s hits the spot. The pasta specials are always good, but you pay for the quality. The portions are large enough to have leftovers and be satisfied. The pizza is good with the right amount of crunch. Not the best pizza but very good pizza. Now they accept CC which helps since I always forget to take out cash these days. I’ll keep going here.

I got 2 regular slices the pricing was fair and the food was pretty good. It’s convenient when you don’t want seafood gives you another option.

After a day kayaking in the hot sun, my girlfriend and I needed some fuel. City Island doesn’t have too many options when it comes to places to just grab food. We tried Filomena’s because it looked decent and because I was craving pizza. We ordered a half white half sausage and peppers, and while I thought it was decent my girlfriend felt quite shitty afterwards. Also it was on the high end for a pie, especially of this caliber. Probably wont return.

The prices are very good, the service was quick and the food worthy of the Food Network! What i felt upon my first bite was the type of joy Anton Ego displayed when tasting Remy’s ratatouille in the eponymous movie. Stop reading now and just go!

Nice guys at the pizzeria. The pizza is ok. It’s a bit bland but they have salt, garlic powder, hot pepper, etc to spice it up. I prefer their Sicilian pie. Their regular pies have way too much oil on them. I don’t know if it’s from the cheese they use or if they add olive oil to the top of the pizza. It only happens with their regular pies. They delivery quickly and the pizza is always hot. I recommend you have salt and spices in the house to give the pizza a bit more flavor.

My grandparents ordered pizza for delivery. It didn’t take too long at all(also it was a Monday night after all). The pizza is decent, a bit too salty for my palette. The crust was excellently cooked, not burnt at all. And oneslice is filling.

Excellent pizzeria located in City Island, came here while on break from work. I had a slice and a chicken roll. The pizza was excellent, I enjoyed the sauce and the chicken roll’s cheese was also fresh tasting. I would def come back.

Good slices. I like the cubed tomatoes & mozzarella meatless pie. There are calzones too.
