Why is there a photo of money for this supermarket? Am I missing something? Maybe it’s because they take all of your money and offer the neighborhood consumer with no savings? Maybe that’s why. Fine Fare(FF) supermarket is the most local within walking distance to the neigboring area and they know this. Like most neighborhoods, we have a lot of elderly people residing in the area, that either walk or take the local bus from their residence due to this supermarkets close proximity. At one point, it was the only supermarket within a mile and they blatantly took advantage of that situation price wise. I guess you can’t blame them, they are a business after all and they are obviously using the supply and demand rule of economics Lucky for us, competitive supermarkets started popping up within the surrounding area, to provide us with some diversification of products and prices. FF hasn’t changed that much, their quality of meats and seafood are definitely not the best and are the highest in prices I’ve seen these past years. Oddly enough, things, that is pricing, have not changed even with the surrounding competitors. Though I’ve figured that these prices are a premium for the non-drivers that can’t find their way over to say a competitor supermarket like FB(not Facebook) or a GM(not General Manager) where a large variety of products and lower prices are extra fresh and extra reasonable. Bottom line is FF’s one or two items are in sync with competitors, but the main majority of items are well over priced. Knowing that there are other options available to me, I refuse to support FF and will go to my preferred supermarket west of here.

It was FREEZING in the entire supermarket not just by the refrigerators. I absolutely hated the parking lot. It’s narrow and seriously accident prone. It was so uncomfortably cold I stayed for about 10mins. My time would have been faster if I knew where things were, but it took me about 5mins to find an employee.

Surprisingly clean, and not too expensive for things in a pinch. The parking lot is bigger than it looks, though it could be tough to get your car in and out of the narrow entrance. Their produce section doesn’t have much, and the tiny checkout lanes keeps orders smaller and managable. The checkout girls are really young and I can’t help but wonder who the creepy manager is that is doing the hiring.
