A great team, very pleasant workers. Quick turnaround and got in touch if they were running late. Good prices and quality work — they fixed our shower door which was falling off from a job done by a different company and they fixed our windows.

Strong work; good price. They came when they said they would, gave me a price they stuck to, and did the work quickly and competently.

let’s face it glass is never cheap, but there is more to it than just the lowest price. Having said that, Shapiro and James’ prices seem very fair.
They took my order over the phone, I paid with a card and the glass was ready a few business days later. Everything about it was very relaxed and accommodating — also very informative. I had asked if they would cut a few pieces I already had in addition to making me a few and surprisingly they said no problem.
When I arrived they had missed one piece on the order so they cut it while I waited, peppering them with questions about glass which they answered without hesitation.
If like me, you like old-​world feeling businesses which are small without being so small that they have to charge high prices, this is a good place for you.
As a bonus they have an old wood-​stove puffing away in their shop which gives the whole thing an even better feel.
I will use them again.

Came here in need of a 12×16 mirror replacement and was in & out in 5 minutes. Super-​friendly staff, cut my piece and asked me if I wanted the remainder, which I gladly took. Totally reasonable pricing and quality products. Then, when I got home and realized that my mirror was a few cm too long, I took it back and they trimmed it, free of charge.
They specialize in framed and frame-​less shower and tub enclosures, as well as wood windows, glass tops, sliding glass doors and storefronts. They’ve been doing their thing for over 50 years, dealing in a lot of larger, commercial business. It was refreshing to have them make me feel like an important, bigger client, while only spending $ 13.
