Omg! Kai chicken teriyaki is an awesomeness! Checkin is grilled and grilled meat. It’s so good … Be back soon and services are so friendly to deal with customers.

I ordered $ 90 order for lunch and requested brown rice on three rolls. The girl calls me to let me know I have to give the delivery guy $ 3 extra for the brown rice. I told her,“I can’t believe you are nickel and diming me on a $ 90 lunch order.” She said she would get in trouble. Then the order took over an hour. Never again.

Here I thought there’s no such thing as a good restaurant in the bronx! … Thanks to my brother who found this lovely gem not to far from me – it’s my favorite restaurant I’m in bronx — the food is great, the ambiance is great — the wait staff is really efficient and TIP worthy lol … Hands down the best spot on williambridge. I’m a sucker for the sushi so I order the three rolls for $ 16 and I love their calamari and the wonton soup is very tasty!!! … Give it a try … It’s worth every penny

Tried the salmon teriyaki bento and my boyfriend tried the chicken teriyaki bento. Food was not good at all, below average. The only thing that was good was their rice.

Good food, very good for take out but over priced, better quality then before you can see and taste the difference. but they are still charging a lot. I’m happy that it’s quality, but lacking flavor just a bit. Like all Asian places if you get napkins with your meal it’s like hitting the lottery. Fast delivery and cool delivery guy. Getting 4 stars cause you can tell they changed big time. But they should drop there prices just a little. $ 30.50 + 5 bucks for the driver. for an order of beef and broccoli, steamed dumplings and some fried wontons? No free soda. I’m not cheap but going off most places you spend more then $ 20 you get a soup, egg roll or a soda. Lol but the place did a 180 since the Hawaiian sea thing.

Ok I have been going to this restaurant before new owners took over when it was call Hawaii Seas. Which was Great but now I have always gone for their Crab patties which were delicious and had quite a bit of crab in them. Now I went back on Christmas day with my family spent $ 250.00 on my bill and ordered 3 orders of Crab patties which were the worst I have ever tasted they cut out 99% of the crab and turned out to be nothing but a big glob of cream cheese. I know they are trying to save money on the crab but this was awful and this is what I have been drawn back to thru out all the years. Guess now I can go to any other chinese restaurant they have nothing special to bring me back. Shrimp with Lobster sauce was slimey and unflavorful. Get your act together wont be coming back again.

Unfortunately I need to lower my ratings, The last couple of times I ordered their«king crab patties» it was nothing more than a big glob of cream cheese with not even any crab in it. For me, that was one of the differentiating foods from other chinese places. As a result of them cutting costs in that and overall quality of food, I’m cutting their stars.

It took almost 2 hours to get my order. When I got it, it was wrong they did not follow the directions that were so easily put underneath the ordered item that requested scallions to be added. By the time I got it it was cold except for the sushi that was disgustingly warm at that point. The contents of the soup leaked all over the inside of the bag causing a nice mess. No apology from the driver when he made it half an hour after he left the restaurant just blamed it on grubhub.

The chef’s sashimi salad is one of tastiest items on the menu. It was an excellent starter followed by two delicious specialty rolls. Service was also great. Reasonable prices too.

I love asian fusion food! This restaurant is a hidden gem of the neighborhood(except it’s not very hidden because it really stands out). One star off the bat for being very clean. You get a complementary fried noodle thing as an appetizer to dip in duck sauce and mustard(very addicting). We ordered the Kai roll, tiger roll, mango roll, and soft shelled crab roll. Everything was on point, especially the Kai roll. These specialty rolls are generously sized — to the point where I got tired from chewing so much food lol. Who can complain? Definitely worth the bang for your buck. FYI — they have the good kind of green tea ice cream! Not the overly-sweet fake green tea :)

Always always always order from here, great sushi. Before moving to this area I’d only get my sushi from a few of my favorite spots in Manhattan, but now I have another option. They also have kind workers and reasonable prices.

Came here for the first time. A friend picked this place as she lives in the Bronx. We had shrimp with garlic sauce(good tasty large fresh shrimps). Also had the Peking pork chops(they’re called something else) it was sweet, tasty a little fatty but good(I had better in Chinatown). Tried the sesame chicken and it’s lean & quality meat. I had the combo so it also came with pork fried rice(they make good fried rice), egg roll(I didn’t try) and soup I had wonton(it was ok, I was turned off by the smell), then the ice cream(pistachio was pretty good). Overall, I would come back here. Decent food and quality so you get what you paid for. Big portions too. Price is a little high compared to other Chinese restaurants, but again it’s worth it. I’d rather pay more for great food than less but crappy good. I recommend it. I have to try their sushi next time as they look good.

My husband and I love this place! We have sushi about once a week from this place because is so! Good. Dumplings, soup, sushi roll, bento box, shrimp temperature, it’s all good. We usually order out and seldom do we ever eat inside. Whether you eat inside or pick up, the service is great. I’ve come here with large group of people and they are very accommodating.

I’ve been to Kai Sushi quite a few times and I’ve also made countless orders to my apartment. This is my absolute favorite sushi spot. Kai is consistent; you can count on the size, flavor, and quality of their rolls to be the same every time you order. The same can’t necessarily be said for other sushi places in the area. Their two– and three-roll specials are a great deal and you really can’t go wrong with any of their rolls. As far as speciality rolls go, I’ve only had their Kai Roll, and it was absolutely delicious. I tend to like my sushi simple, so I usually go for their spicy crunchy tuna or salmon, eel avocado, or sweet potato tempura rolls. Their shrimp tempura is also great. For apps, my husband and I love the spicy rock shrimp or scallion pancakes. If you aren’t looking to eat sushi, I definitely recommend their teriyaki salmon or shrimp. They also have great drinks. I’ve never had bad service at this restaurant and the atmosphere is clean and warm. I’m always particularly impressed by the beautiful mosaic tiles that adorn their walls. Their bathroom is immaculate and also well designed. There’s clearly a lot of pride taken in this restaurant and it shows not only in the décor, but also in their delicious food.

Came here with my boyfriend. It was an interesting experience. It started with the parking lot we pulled up in front of the locked gate and waited for the attendant. After 15 minutes of waiting patiently someone finally came and opened it. As for the food, it was mediocre yet decent for the neighborhood. After dining at other upscale Asian fusion restaurants in the city I would say Kai holds its ground and is definitely a positive boost in the area. We ordered the pork chop with onion and rice and I got the sashimi/sushi combo. Server was very friendly and kept water glasses filled. Food portions were decent enough to bring home. Would be back again maybe to check out the bar area. Also we had the calamari app which was not fried but breaded with Panko. It was like calamari tempura. I would not order it again beware if your looking for the traditional calamari style dish.

Craving some sushi recently and refusing to travel down into Manhattan I settled on the highest ranked place with a sushi search nearby. Décor: Nice. Chinese family style décor. Service good Sushi Rolls: I would say average sushi with a little premium on price. Overall If you have low expectations on what sushi is supposed to be like then you might like this place. I only tried the rolls, overall fish was ok some a little mushy and my rice broke apart a little too easily. I would probably only come back if I was really craving but not before I try other sushi places in the area.

First time here but it is so good! A+ doesn’t do the food here justice. You get a good portion of food for the price. The flavor itself makes the price worth it. The place looks great. It’s an upscale restaurant for a good price. If you haven’t been here, you have to. It will be worth your time and money!

I’m addicted to this place. They offer a nice variety of sushi rolls for reasonable prices for takeout. You just can’t beat $ 14.95 for 3 rolls with free miso soup! I’m a fan of the the Alaska Roll, spicy crunch Kanu roll and avocado mango rolls. Delivery times are always a hit or miss. Sometimes it only takes 20 but other times takes about an hour. Very convenient that they accept credit cards for delivery.

Went here on Wednesday 5÷6÷15 for dinner. Be sure to check in on Unilocal for free ice cream! It was quite empty in here which should have been my first cue to turn around. The waiters were nice and I was promptly greeted upon entering. Even though the restaurant was empty, the waiter wasn’t really around much. For dinner I got the Hawaiian steak combo platter which was about $ 16 or so, I forgot the price. It came with pork fried rice, soup, egg roll, and ice cream. The steak was plated on skewers and was super dry and I totally regret getting it. The fried rice was ok. Didn’t get a chance to try the egg roll. I got the wonton soup and that was fine. For dessert I chose the green tea ice cream. Once my ice cream came out and I saw the color of it I knew I wouldn’t be pleased. The green tea ice cream was super dark green, which I immediately predicted would be super bitter, and I was right so i didn’t finish it. Overall I was not satisfied and would definitely not come back, as I could get better and cheaper Chinese take out that would be far superior.
