I frequent this fish market because its cleaner than most in the area and the prices are reasonable. However, I have only had the cooked food here and havent bought the fish fresh to take home. They have quite a few seasoning options if you chose to have your food steamed as well as assorted veggie options to accompany your food. The fried seafood options are pretty fresh and prepared onsite. I try to avoid lunch time because the employees in the area(mainly from Lincoln hospital) frequent this market and it can get very crowded. The staff is pretty friendly and do there best to manage the lunch crowd.

So this is a pretty decent«secret» i guess that i only found on my last month at Lincoln. Kims fish market is a fish market located around the corner from lincoln café. It sell seafood primarily HOWEVER, heres the difference They will steam the fish that you buy fresh for them, at no cost. I mean lets say i see some salmon, I choose a decent size, they weigh it, I pay for it. Then i can either take it home, or they’ll steam it for me to eat. Perfect. You can also add vegetables for them to steam at $ 2 a pop(brocolli potatoes, corn, etc) as well has a variety of battered fish, onion rings, etc for you to purchase to fry. Downsides is the steaming takes time, so dont expect to be in and out in 5 mins. Give it like 20. However they do take phone in orders. Overall a place to get fresh cooked fish to eat maybe for a healthy lunch, or if you like to buy fish to buy fish(since after all. .it primarily is a fish market). A change from the fast food, south american food, sandwich joints and pizza joints around the area. Those that work at the hospital, check it out :) Oh, and cash AND credit. Thats nice.
