The chicken and yellow rice were both too dry, but the green salsa/sauce helps. I love any of the fried fish options. The beans were tasty, but I saw quite a few potatoe chunks… is that a New York thing? I’d come back and give it another shot, especially since they’re open so early in the morning and late at night.

We visited The Bronx on Nov 13 – 16 and came here on the 14th… I wanted authentic Spanish food from the Bronx in seeing I’m Puerto Rican and Colombian and from Cleveland. I was very disappointed. I got the Carne Asada and Madudos. The service sucked, music was to loud and the steak was burnt. My Madudos were made with almost ripe bananas and not sweet at all. Not at all what I expected for the Bronx.

I have been here a few times. The staff is very friendly and they speak English(which is not always a given in this neighborhood). I enjoy their food and now that they have their«A» back I will be returning.

This is a good restaurant. Never sat inside its more of an older people spot. I usually order or get to go, the shrimp salad is a lil pricey but good comes with rice and beans and a salad, the chicken grilling in the window is also real good, comes with like a garlic dipping sauce.

So delicious, Fresh Dominican food made right! I have been here twice and have loved the Bistek Encebollado! Ton of food for a great price! Music a bit too loud but fast and friendly service, Cash only as most places in this area.

This place is pretty new. Lucky for me, it’s right around the corner. Food is great. Service is pretty good. They have a decent selection of food but need a little more(no Asopaos). I’ve been there 3 times now and each time is just as good as the last. They do NOT accept credit cards. Cash only. If you run into a pinch, walk outside, take a right, take another right at the corner, walk down to the corner store, They have an ATM. Parking is not a problem from what I’ve seen(I walk). Only complaint I have, music is very loud when they have live entertainment(Thurs-Sun nights). Must be my age is probably why it feels loud. Good talent though. I would love it more if they only turned the music down some. Then you can thoroughly enjoy it. Very reasonable prices. For me, my wife and daughter– $ 33 is the most we’ve paid. This price is including the drinks. I will admit, all we have to get my daughter is rice, beans and avocado. Still not a bad price. I’m dying to try their Paella. $ 35. That’s not a bad price for Paella. Actually, that’s par.
