Mambo101 specializes in teaching regular people that come in how to dance. Many other schools teach 2 or sometimes even 3 classes in one room at a time. We do not, We offer 2 comfortable air conditioned studios for your learning experience. All of our instructors have been bred directly from our studio. At one time they were regular beginner students and have worked their way up to teachers and professional dance team performers. We take our time to make sure you will learn how to dance someone is ALWAYS here to help you!

History

Established in 2002.

Mambo101 became the creation of Omar Martinez, Originally a street hip hop dancer in his teen years decided to take classes in brooklyn at a school called La Salsa De Hoy under Joe Delgado. Once Omar mastered the skills he needed he decided to start off slowly teaching at Jimmys Bronx Café. From this point the word slowly started to get out that Mambo101 was the place to go learn how to dance salsa. The classes grew to the point that Omar had to branch out and start his own studio. We are very proud of what we do at Mambo101. You may come in walking but I promise you that you will leave dancing!
