This Starbucks counter is located on the first floor of the Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Open from 7am until 3pm, the spot is a lifesaver– even if they don’t have iced coffee.
I’m not a donut eater but the lunch salads, fruit plates and sandwichs have saved me from having to venture into the packed Medical Center cafeteria on those days that I can actually leave my desk at lunch time for a brief foray outside of my office.
