I got a Groupon for $ 33 for One Women’s Haircut with Single Process Color & Style. I have short hair so I needed a trim with brown color single process. Scheduling the appointment was easy. I showed up on time the front desk welcomed me nicely and took me too color station. I met Heena there with whom I discuss about color but the other employee said Groupon cover only root touch up even though it clear say’s on deal Single Process color plus I have short hair so its not like they have to use lot of color. I thought I made a mistake reading Groupon deal and agree to pay $ 30 extra for hair color. Heena did a good job in coloring my hair & Veronica gave me hair cut & style exactly the way I wanted. I like the salon its nice & big with very stylish décor and everyone speaks English. I stay in Bronx but to get my hair done I use to travel to Manhattan every time. This place is nice and good to know its in Bronx and I don’t have to travel far. But I am still not happy about paying extra for color they should make it clear on Groupon deal. I will go again there without deal but will make sure to discuss the price first.

I needed a haircut. badly. I walked in. nice décor. the stylist who did my hair didn’t speak a lick of English but my wash, cut & blow was fine — albeit A LOT shorter than the sample style photo I brought in. ok, not bad… BUTTHEPRICE. OH… MY…GOD. I could have gotten the same(or better) results from any other salon on morris park for HALF the cost. My advice — go to another salon in the area — there are TONS.

Excellently priced services. I went for a blowout for a wedding. I have extremely thick hair and thought it would take much longer for them to complete. I was wrong, out the door in 35 minutes!

Federico is pretty good at cutting men’s hair but they are incredibly disorganized and really bad at time management. I often had to wait 20 – 30 mins and the last time when I arrived they were running an hour late(no phone call to notify me). I left when they told me they would get in touch when they would be ready for me but they never called and didn’t even call to apologize or try to reschedule. If you value your time and don’t want to wait too long then look elsewhere. There are plenty of places in the neighborhood to get a good cut.

I have a pretty low bar for haircuts and salons since I’ve been disappointed many times.(My hair has a lot of volume but has been tamed through a recent straightening treatment.) I needed a quick trim since my ends and bangs were overgrown, so I stopped by. I actually have to commend my stylist for her technique — I’ve never had someone so inattentive give me such a decent haircut. Upon closer inspection afterwards, a small segment of my hair is about an inch or two longer than the rest — a definite no no in my book and not just because I’m kinda OCD. Anyway, I think this is a good place for folks who have an existing relationship with one of the stylists. If you’re brand new, I would suggest avoiding, unless you’re OK with someone who spends more time chatting than focusing on your luscious locks.

I came here for an ombré about a month ago. When i say that I was highly disappointed it is an understatement. Instead, I got highlights that started in the middle of my hair. I had never previously dyed my hair and when I went to my friend to correct it, she was floored by the damage that this salon had caused. My thick, long hair has become brittle and broken. I will never go back to this salon again, and I will never recommend it to another person.

I went for the first time today and was very happy with the results. I was very impressed with the shop. It’s very well kept and the two women there, Ann Marie and Toni were very friendly. I arrived 45 minutes early and they didn’t make me wait at all. Toni gave me a very nice haircut, and the price was so reasonable. I will definitely be making this my go to place whenever I need a haircut. I’m so glad I found this place and will not be going back to the place on East Tremont Avenue(Guys & Dolls). The Stage Hair Salon is also very conveniently located and a lot closer to home.

The décor is pleasant and features a large photograph of lower Manhattan and exposed brick walls. More important, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff are knowledgeable and careful. I have been here at least five times in the recent past and each experience has been great. This last time the owner’s daughter, Tiziana, and Toni were the hairdressers assigned to me and each was terrific. In the past, I have had Ann Marie as well who is also really good at her job. Big plus, the owner and his wife and the salon manager are really nice. I plan to come back as often as needed and know that I will be happy with result.

Beware! This place is horrible. If I could give it Zero Stars I would. When you walk in, very unprofessional, had to wait to speak with receptionist who wasn’t at her desk at the time, a whole lot of chit chatting goes on here. Got criticized on my hair as they bashed the other stylist I had went to prior to going to this salon. Stated that my hair color looked horrible and that the cut of my hair wasn’t done by a professional. Not only was I flabbergasted at the things that were coming out of(Cindy) the stylist that was assigned to me but annoyed with such unprofessionalism. This place not only destroyed my hair but also a friend of mines who went there as well did not have a pleasant time. Her hair was also destroyed and needed reconstructive coloring done at another salon. I do not recommend anyone to go here unless they want to be criticized at a price. Go elsewhere. Also the color that I wanted and that was shown in a picture that I bought with me was so far fetched. Please do not waste your time, look elsewhere, unless you want to get a color that will be a mystery.

Went in for color and I am VERY particular about my undertones. Maida took one look and quickly identified what would be best for me and the look I was trying to achieve. AnnMarie(my favorite colorist for years) applied the color without making any mess or staining my forehead or ears(one of my biggest pet peeves). I highly recommend this salon. Quality work without the NYC/Westchester prices. Outstanding customer service as well. P. S. Danes is amazing with blow-outs!

Awesome service! Even for a walk-in without appointment. My 11 year old was fascinated with her haircut. Really made us feel at home. Took a card and the number is going on my contact phone list. They just won 2 repeat customers! Place is super clean chic and comfy. A total thumbs up. Highly recommend

Well what can I say about The Stage? For years I would trek all the way to Manhattan to get my hair done, especially my color. After becoming tired of this I took along hiatus from this routine. One day while driving down Morris Park I noticed a new business(The Stage) had opened. In my desperation I threw caution to the wind and decided to go in. I figured I would just get a wash and blow to feel the place out. As soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and then the owner. They set me up with Jenna(Jennamarie Avallone). Besides being very professional and hospitable along with everyone else there she was a complete Doll! Well I was sold and since, have gone back and had my color done and a cut. The attentiveness has not wavered! So I say who needs to trek all the way to Manhattan when they can get VIP attention right in there own neighborhood minus the snobby! Cheers to your future success Stage Team!
