I am a hockey player and want to give my review based on my experiences trying to play hockey at the rink. The rink is egregiously overpriced for «open» hockey which is supposed to be pickup hockey where you play a game with other players. They charge 20 bucks to skate around and shoot on open nets by yourself maybe with one or two other players. The most if seen show up to open hockey is 4 other players. No heat in the locker rooms, short rink, and poor ice conditions are just some of the other issues with this place. Not to mention a very unwelcoming front desk girl and a mandatory usa hockey insurance number which costs an additional 40 bucks. This place has no clue when it comes to promoting hockey in the bronx and I predict will struggle mightily when the new arsenal rinks eventually open up. Save your money and go to Ej Murray in Yonkers if you want to play hockey.
