Verona Pizza & Italian

Verona Pizza is the best in the area! The prices are great, the food tastes great, and everything is made to order! The best thing about this place? The workers. They really make you feel welcome. They remember how you like your food, what your «regular» is, and they remember you by name! That is exceptional customer service, and that is what keeps me and my family coming here again and again.

Pastas and sandwiches are always top notch here. This is the place I go to when I don’t feel like cooking.

I ordered Buffalo chicken pizza, The bread was flappy, saggy, and too soft instead of being fresh and crispy. They also didn’t serve it with ranch or blue cheese. This will be my first and last time ordering from this Pizzeria.

Oh my yum! Thank you Unilocal for connecting me to Verona. We found them about 9 months ago And now they have become my go to place for pizza. I introduced this spot to my aunt, bf and parents. Mom even wrote a review about them. Anyway, point is, best pizza around and their Grandma Sicilian is everything!

Let me start by saying that the location of this pizzeria is like a doomed, cursed territory. Formerly a Chinese food restaurant, then once that got shut down it became a pizzeria, an overpriced, not so great pizzeria, which was then taken over by the owners in charge now.
That being said, I think these guys have broken the curse. The pizza is great, from the sauce to the crust & down to the price (compared to the last place). The service is also great, friendly & easy going workers.
I’ve only eaten here about 4 times, but they have yet to disappoint. Aside from the pizza, I’ve ordered buffalo wings with fries. The wings were great. Not dry but not too saucy either. You can choose from mild or spicy, I chose spicy. They could have been spicier, but that’s just my personal opinion. The fries were homemade, not frozen, which surprised me. I loved that they had some skin on them as well.
Lastly, I have to comment about the appetizers/​dessert. The garlic knots are 5 for $ 1.00, cheapest in the neighborhood. The zeppoles are 4 for $ 1.00 and don’t disappoint (fried pizza dough with powdered sugar). My fave were the cinnamon twist, which is fried pizza dough dusted with cinnamon & sugar. These were 4 for $ 1.00, and they are pretty big. They look like little ropes with a knot in the middle.

My husband ordered a pepperoni pizza, and really enjoyed it. I ordered a chicken roll and it was very delicious! The chicken roll was juicy and well-​seasoned, and the delivery was professional and earlier than they projected. I will definitely order from this place, again.

I’ve been ordering from this pizzeria for a while now and not yet one problem. always amazing food, great prices, good portions and super quick delivery. If they have any questions they don’t mind giving you a call and asking (especially if you order from grub hub) try the cheese steak pizza it’s awesome.
Also they have pizza with gyro meat!!!
And good tortellini soup

Food is great, fresh and quickly delivered. Star is taken off for lack of detail. Got the wrong soda and ignored the request to call me instead of going up to the door.

Everyone order the Grandma Sicilian! We ordered a couple of pies for family night. The food arrived within the hour and we got free wings with our order. I’m looking forward to checking out the rest of the menu. This may be our go to pizza spot.

The food was fresh and delicious and delivery was fast! The food felt as if it just came out of the oven. Thank you for your delicious and friendly service! Definitely will be my designated italian gurus!
