I was heading home to Ohio from The Twin cities and was in need of a new screen for my iPhone 5c(I had dropped it on a rock on vacation). We were passing through Milwaukee and decided to get it done while we ate some lunch… I had used CPR before, and I knew at least my hometown branch did a great job. We called ahead and we agreed on a time and a price, and they agreed to hold a screen for me… An hour later, I rolled into town, gave them my phone, and they went to work(and even gave a couple of recommendations for local lunch places). About 45 minutes later my phone was ready and we were on our way. I could not be more pleased! Extremely courteous and professional, and reasonably priced. Well done!

Fixed my cracked iPhone 5s screen, after the Apple Store at Mayfair said they couldn’t — and that I would have to pay $ 259 to swap the phone out completely. Quoted me $ 135 for the work, and the screen is as good as new. They had it done in less than three hours, though it was a weekday morning. Everyone I dealt with was really nice. I would definitely come back here, and recommend to friends.

My phone’s charging port was on it’s last leg(I had to creatively come up with how to position the charger in the phone to actually GETIT to charge…). My brother went here before and told me how satisfied he was with it, and how reasonably priced it was(his issue was the«Home» button no longer worked on his iPhone 4s). The guy I dealt with(I believe he’s the owner of the place?) was very friendly, gave me a very quick estimate($ 50), and said it’d be ready in 2 hours. I went during the week ~noon, so your wait depends on what time of day you go and how many techs they have there. They’re very fair priced and very friendly! They can fix screens, phones dropped in water, data-recovery, camera… pretty much anything. Highly recommended!

In the hours following Unilocal Milwaukee’s Nauti-By-Nature Elite event ON A BOAT, my boyfriend and I found a way to crack the screen of my phone. … «crack» is the wrong word. No, we somehow eschewed the protective case and UTTERLYDESTROYED the screen of my touchscreen smart phone that was less than a year old, shackled to a two-year contract, and(as far as I could tell) would cost MILLIONS of dollars to replace. In one moment, I went from happily gallivanting around Estabrook Park’s beer gardens to possibly impoverished and totally disconnected — in a word, devastated. And when I say«we» utterly destroyed the screen of my phone, allow me to spare you the details of how he ended up with the thing and was the unwilling guilty party who dropped it on doomy doomy blacktop of doomy doom. DOOM. By the next afternoon, I had painfully reconciled the fact that I was going to have to some time soon shell out BILLIONS of dollars for another phone OR … die. Those were my only two options. So when my boyfriend showed up after work suggesting we look into the possibility of having the screen replaced, I wondered if anyone else could have ever cracked their cellphone’s touchscreen. Surely not, I decided. Surely I am the only person who has ever shattered her phone’s screen. NOTSO, it seems, as the all-knowing intarwebs told us of a mythical business named«CPR Cell Phone Repair» in a far away land known as «Brookfield». Seriously. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of repairing the stupid phone earlier. We called and got a $ 60 price estimate and were encouraged further when they said they might be able to have the repairs finished before close if we got there ASAP. I was ecstatic. When we arrived to drop off my phone, the man who received us seemed shocked, wondering if we hadn’t dropped it but had run it over with a car(a statement about the extent of the damages). Still, he seemed optimistic that it should be done before they would have to close for the day — three hours later at 7:00pm. Deciding to stay in the area, we stopped back at 6:00pm and wondered if they were any closer to being able to tell us if we should continue to wait or just come back the next afternoon. A second, female, employee checked on the status of the repair and said it could be worth it just waiting. I took this to mean the odds were good that my phone would be finished in time. So we waited for nearly another hour before going back right before they meant to close. A third employee went to the rear of the business to check on my phone and returned to say that it was only about 33% finished, that we would have to come back the following day. ??? I fail to understand why the female employee told me that my phone’s repairs might be complete in that last hour if the process was obviously going so slowly. Only 33% complete? In the first THREEHOURS? Why, then, was I told it could be finished in one more hour? My issue was not that I couldn’t have my phone repaired in one afternoon; by contrast, I was still extremely happy I didn’t have to ship my phone to someone and have to wait a week. Instead, my issue was that I was mislead into thinking the repairs *COULD* be done in time. Kinda like I *COULD* sprout wings one day and fly to the moon. So I wasted an hour of my day waiting ‘cuz someone had too much faith in their repair guy or because someone is just plain dumb. Twenty-four hours after we stepped foot in CPR’s front door, and $ 60+tax later, I had my phone back. I’ve noticed since then that the new screen isn’t quite as sensitive as the original, but the difference is so negligible I wouldn’t even consider it a complaint. I’m just relieved I didn’t have to pony up TRILLIONS of dollars to replace the whole phone. $ 60 is much more civilized, I think. In the end, though I was happy the repairs were complete in just a day, I was still pretty irritated that someone(employee #1, employee #2, or employee #3) wasted an hour of my time. An hour I could have spent playing solitaire or checking Facebook. No. Not really.
