My husband bought my engagement and wedding band here and I’ve been coming from time to time to have it cleaned.
The store is absolutely beautiful and the customer service is excellent. I am always greeted with a warm smile and hello when I arrive. The family who runs the store is so nice! Actually — everyone who works there is so nice and professional that I cannot even tell who is family and who isnt because everyone is so nice!
I must laugh at the 1-​star review — it has to be a fake. She wrote «They switched a gem on my friend’s mom several years ago.» Yeah — sure they did — and then you still decided to buy an engagement ring here. LOL Sounds like a competitor if you ask me.
Do yourself a favor– if you are looking for beautiful ring or watch, go check our Treiber and Straub, I know you wont be disappointed!

My finance ordered my engagement ring from here. The day he proposed I noticed the ring had a chip on the gold band. I took it back and they said they need the jeweler to look at it but he was on vacation for a week and a half. They told me what day he was back and told me to call to see if he was there before I came in. I called and of course he was not going to be on that day. So finally I went back with my fiancé and demanded a new ring. They said no they had to have the jeweler look at it first. So they made me leave my ring. Then they called my fiancé and told him they need to send the ring back. They said they would put a rush on it. It’s been over a week now and so I called to see how much longer. They said the ring is on back order. So they have no idea how much longer. HORRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!

I took my wife’s TAG in for a new battery and was very impressed with both the service and the store. Though I had a low cost transaction I was treated as well as if I was making a much larger purchase.

My husband and I had our first trip to Treiber to look at engagement rings. I will admit, I was a bit intimidated walking into a store with a reputation for being more «high-​end.» The second we walked in, we were greeted by Melissa — friendly, knowledgeable, and zero pressure. She was so helpful and took the nervousness out of shopping for a ring — we didn’t even talk about cost the first time we were there, we simply had fun trying everything on! We immediately knew that this would be our go-​to spot — not just for our wedding, but any jewelry purchase we would have!
My engagement ring is beautiful, and it makes me so happy knowing I got it from such a great store, one where I can stop in anytime and feel like I know the whole crew. My mom and sisters ended up getting hooked on the store, too, as we had some jewelry made for the wedding. You really cannot beat the customer service AND selection (David Yurman selection in Brookfield, WI… extremely hard to find)!
Go visit Treiber & Straub — ask for Melissa — she is the best! We never thought we would be stopping in to our jewelry store to show the associates our wedding photos when we first started looking, that is how comfortable we feel there!

The man who owns Treiber & Straub is down right rude to his customers. I don’t know how the other customers could possibly speak so highly of this store. My engagement ring was bought here and they downright ripped my fiancé off. They gave us an appraisal for less than the cost and didn’t explain. Then they adjusted my band charging me money. They did a sloppy job and when I wanted to fix their poor workmanship (lumpy rough platinum) they wouldn’t. The owner comes out like a bully and says they would not fix something that was «fine.» Well, I guess I should have known better! They switched a gem on my friend’s mom several years ago and it took my own experience with this poorly run business to learn my lesson too! Run for the hills and don’t go here for any big purchases unless you can afford to take elsewhere to actually work with you and get it right. I found a lovely family run business in Mequon that was able to fix Treiber’s mistakes. From what I hear other customers are slowly learning to stay away from what used to be a good store and it is a matter of time before this place becomes bankrupt. Good riddens!

I cannot say enough good things about this place!
I came here for my engagement ring and they worked with me to create exactly what I wanted! I never felt like I was pressured into buying something I didnt want or spending more than I wanted to.
Their customer service is really top notch — but thats what one should expect with a family owned store! I will def continue to shop here for all of my jewerly needs!
And talk about a beautiful store! It is just breath taking! The selection is huge! I drooled over a few rolex watches while I was here too!
