These guys are great for getting your glass cut and they are very knowledgeable about home improvement. I’m happy real American businesses still exist I will support my local business.

I love this store and the employees. It’s small, down home, and a bit dingy, but they have it all. There have only been a few times when I have walked in and they have not had what I needed. MS Kathy(owner) is the best! Ask her where something is and she will tell you exactly where the item is located. «Those pipe couplers you want are on aisle three half way down on the third shelf.» Sure enough, that is where they are! They are actually competitive with the box stores and a whole lot nicer to work with. Keep up the great work! Cheers!

Nice small hardware store. Really helpful and friendly. Selection and services are great, especially considering the size. My only beef so far is that they are closed Sundays, which is when my plumbing breaks.

This is the kind of family owned hardware store that all of us must patronize if we don’t want the impersonal big boxes to obliterate small business. This one has«personality,» it has knowledgeable employees who will go the extra distance to help you, and it is just as grateful to sell you a replacement o-ring or a garden hoe as a coil of copper tubing or a lawn mower. It is always amazing to me how many household replacement parts can be jammed into one little store. And you have only to ask where each little screw, bushing or pruning tool is located. This is, indeed, my place to visit, even to discover something that I didn’t realize that I really needed.

So, this place is small, and kind of dingy, and the fertilizer smell almost knocked me over the first time I walked in, but I dig it. For smaller more basic items, I always prefer these little hardware stores over the big box stores. One thing I think I like about this particular store is that there are two women who work here(they may even be the owners, I’m not sure). They are friendly and helpful. I’ve had so many experiences with male employees at other hardware stores treating me like I couldn’t possibly know what I’m doing — or, at the big box stores, the employees don’t know what or where an item is. That has never happened here. If you are looking for something that they don’t have in the store, they suggest a nearby place that might have it, which has saved me time and frustration on at least two occasions. You can’t go in to these small hardware store expecting to have a selection of 50 different ceiling fans like at a Home Depot or Menards, but you can expect good service and items to suit your basic needs.
