I can’t say enough positive things about BeBe Spa! The location is T-convenient, and the salon itself is clean and modern/trendy. I go regularly for gel manicures, pedicures, and eyebrow waxing. Maria is my go-to girl, but if she’s not available, all of the staff are friendly and very skilled. The services are all very reasonably priced, and you definitely get your money’s worth. Plus, you can’t go wrong with the hot stone pedicure!

Most rushed pedicure I have ever had. Nail color is well done but the rest is awful. I feel like I just got a color change — total waste of money. Agree with other reviews about poor customer service. There was a lot of confusion when I booked my appointment. It was my first time there and never going back. For a few dollars more, I can get a much better pedicure down the street — and it includes a free massage! UPDATE: changing my review to one star. It’s been 6 days and my pedi has already chipped a lot! And I’ve been living in flip flops and flats this week — no heels, which usually chip my nails. Stay away! Totally waste of money — I could have done a better job myself.

Cute salon and very spacious inside and has two levels. Nice and professional staff! Give them a try if you’re in the area.

I love Bebe spa! I literally go there for everything.(Manicures, pedicures, haircuts, and hair coloring) A couple months ago, I decided to ombré my hair and I couldn’t ask for a better job done by Jeannie. Initially, I was scared because my hair went from pitch black to Barbie blonde without using bleach(!!!), but in the end, I loved it and the blonde has lasted me months, remaining just as blonde as it started. I got it retouched once in August 2015 and trimmed recently(November) and the majority of my hair is still light. I definitely got my money’s worth.

You need an appointment to get your nails done on the weekend otherwise you will have to wait quite a while. They do an amazing job on gel manicures. I’ve always had a great experience her for both mani and pedi. It’s very clean and has a wide selection of colors as well, it’s a little pricey but it’s worth it.

I’m a pretty regular Bebe Spa customer; I go to Bebe for my nails and eyebrows. I usually have Kimmy do my brows and Leo do my nails, but when I recently went to Bebe to prep for my wedding, neither of them were there and I had Maria do my pedicure, manicure, and eyebrow waxing. She is AWESOME. Maria has over 10 years of experience at Bebe Spa and it shows. She is meticulous and won’t let you go until everything is perfect. I got gel tips on my nails for the first time ever and Maria was great at explaining me how the process works, how to take care of them, etc. And they look amazing! She also did a great job on my toes. When I showed her a picture of what I wanted my brows to look like we had a great consultation and she gave me exactly what I was looking for. She is very good at what she does, has a great attitude, and speaks excellent English.

If customer service is important to you, this won’t be your favorite place. If you walk in and don’t have an appointment, expect some weirdness but they will usually try to take you. The people here generally are nice and not prejudice which is sadly something to look for when you’re a brown girl. The pedicures are great if you are a callous queen like me. lol. And the gel manis usually last two weeks but most of the time it doesn’t. Glad I’m moving back to NY so I can finally get my nails done properly again. ha.

Had a massage here and probably the most interesting massage jve ever had. I think it was Thai oriented and I was stretched so well. It felt great. I wouldn’t say most relaxing but extremely therapeutic if your stiff.

I got a great gel manicure for a decent price, and the manicurists were very friendly!

This salon has gone down hill. Small choice of colors and no new colors. Floors and baseboards are filthy. No receptionist. Jeanie, the owner is rude and cheap! If u any difficulty walking, u should know that they haven’t shoveled. I’m not going back and neither are my friends. So run down.

First time, I was pretty disappointed. Prices were falsely advertised. They didn’t didn’t help my sister and I on our way out put plastic on until the sweet girl that did my manicure, Kimmy, noticed and rushed over. Kimmy was great! She could run the place and was so friendly and helpful! She talked to me throughout my entire manicure and pedicure. Everybody else was too busy doing their own nails to notice us trying to our nails ready to leave with quick dry, etc. I’ve always been helped at other salons. Manicure only lasted about 2 days before chipping. I won’t be returning and will go back to Golden Nails — they are so nice and fabulous there!

No one greeted me in the front area for a solid 5 minutes and then finally a woman came out that didn’t speak English, I don’t know why they would assign someone that doesn’t speak English to work at the front desk? She couldn’t tell me how much my facial would be and just stared and walked away and another person came back telling me my appointment would be late. I got a facial with the manager and she was so unprofessional. She didn’t ask me if the woman that didn’t speak English could sit in on the facial and they talked in another language to each the entire time. Not to mention I could hear all the noises from the nail area above us and to block them out she turned on talk radio!!! How unrelaxing. My facial was painful and she ripped my earring out during the massage. Worst experience ever.

I’ve lived all over and every time I move it’s a challenge to find a salon and nail/hair/wax person that I trust. Jeanne is a wizard. She can make my stubby, nail bitten nails look beautiful, color hair, do facials, and I trust her not to go tweezer happy with my eyebrows. The salon itself is clean, and bright. The prices are a bit high nationally but about right for Boston. They have an option for manicures to buy a box($ 5) where they store your personal manicure tools so you don’t get someone else germs.(yuck) All in all, a convenient little all in one beauty place. I even had prenatal massage here years ago. Oh– bring CASH for tips.

The place was really clean and the staff fine. Didn’t find them overly attentive/friendly but I prefer not to chit chat so worked fine for me. I was willing to do a super intense pedicure but no mention of multiple options for pedicures so I think they just gave me the basic one — mostly my fault as I should ask but I thought since I only wanted a pedicure they’d let me know my options. The TV at the salon in the pedicure station had football on which was fabulous! Usually it’s some crappy soap or news so I enjoyed this much better. Even though it was a basic pedi it was WAY better than others I’ve had in the area. $ 29 total. Will definitely be back to try out the manicures but overall I really liked this place!

Five stars for Bebe and Jeannie! Jeannie took my not quite long enough hair and gave me a fabulous updo that was flattering and perfect for the gown I was wearing to a wedding. And as a long time manicure customer, my experience has been that Bebe strives to accommodate the preferences of their customers.

My wallet says no, but my feet say yes! So far, this is my favorite pedicure in Brookline. The staff was extremely nice, my pedicure lasted a month(seriously, it looked amazing, no chips for a month!), and they have a pretty decent selection of nail polish colors, from classic to trendy. Only downside is it’s a little pricey, but it seems par for the course in Brookline.

I am so happy I found this place. Pros– Easy to get an appt Always on time Prices extremely reasonable –no attitude JEANNIE! Jeannie is the best and seriously should get Best of Boston for best blowout. She spends a lot of time on your hair, giving it lots of TLC. You can tell she does hair because she is passionate about her work, not because she is trying to make a quick buck off you like a lot of other salons do. She does these phenomenal blowouts on my very long hair and it gives my hair this gorgeous texture. It comes out so nice there is absolutely no reason to use a flat iron on it after. If you need a style or anything else, go to her!

Still the best, in my opinion(which is why you read Unilocal, right??). I had another great pedicure yesterday with Anna, and her pedicures last a good 6 weeks(even in the summer when my flip flops are not providing the best foot care). In can be busy, but if you know your schedule, make an appointment so you can get in when you want.

Two words: LIFECHANGING. Hyperbole? I don’t think so. I’ve been having my hair chemically straightened with thermal reconditioning for 9 years at a salon just outside of DC. It was expensive but they did a great job and I was frankly afraid to try anyplace else. After moving to Boston 5 years ago I’ve made annual trips to DC(coinciding with visiting family) to have the process done, always wishing I could find a place up here. A coworker friend of mine had the Yuko anti-frizz done by Jeannie at Bebe Spa and I was able to see both the before and after; the results were fantastic and the cost is a fraction of what I was paying in DC. I finally scheduled my own appointment for the anti-frizz treatment; Jeannie listened to and addressed all of my neurotic concerns, offered a few different options and in the end I had the anti-frizz done. Two hours later(compared to the 4+ I typically spent at my old salon) my hair is stick-straight. Even waiting 24 hours to wash it wasn’t as awful as I expected. I will be a customer at Bebe for as long as Jeannie offers the Yuko anti-frizz –she and the process are fabulous!
