History
Established in 2011.
Jimmy’s Bar & Oven opened in Washington Square this June with Brookline native and owner James Hamelburg looking to bring a little lower east side to Brookline. In the old B&D Deli location, our retractable garage door front, handwritten chalk boards, exposed beam ceiling, and vintage brick walls accomplish just that — lest we forget the WoodStone oven in our open kitchen. Jimmy likes his music loud and his games on. Come in any night of the week and with our three flat screen TVs you’ll never miss a game — or go thirsty. Our full bar has something to offer everyone including Jimmy’s favorite pomegranate margarita We’re looking to add some variety to a neighborhood filled with pubs and taverns, which is not to say we don’t offer our own hefty selection of craft beers. So come in, grab a pie, and enjoy a fun, laid back, dining experience you can’t find anywhere else in Brookline.
