Delicious Pizza. Been awhile since I had a great quality pie.

I’m a bit of a pizza snob. The pizza is ho-hum on the northeast scale. The sauce is a bit bland/absent and the toppings a bit thin in relation to the crust. The crust is good but too thick in relation to the sauce and toppings.

Ordered mozzarella sticks and a slice of cheese pizza. The slice I got was nothing extraordinary. The bread was chewy so it might have been sitting out for awhile but I ordered late: maybe 9:30pm. Definitely get a fresh slice. Mozzarella sticks were much better. Nicely toasted crust and the cheese was at the perfect temperature. Had an odd experience at the register. The large menu sign said $ 7 for an order of the mozz sticks but then the cashier charged $ 8 according to the menu she had. Fortunately she accommodated me for the discrepancy once I had pointed it out. Overall I would go again for a quick bite. Probably would have better luck during the day when the baking is more frequent.

My favorite Italian take out/delivery in Brookline! They have a large menu with pizza, italian favorites, & some great appetizers. All of it is really affordable too for what you can get. My favorite is the chicken parmesan with penne pasta, and the portion is so big it can feed me + my 2 roommates, all for about $ 15. As broke, tired, & hungry graduate students — we’re always really happy & satisfied with a meal from Pizzeria Dante.

I’ve never visited here in person, so I don’t know if it’s better than delivery, but I ordered the Supreme Pizza and when it arrived it was still warm, yet very soggy. So much so that we ended up throwing more than half away. We were really disappointed because it had great potential. We also had the mozzarella sticks because people here were raving about them. They weren’t bad by any means, but certainly nothing special. Almost no stretch to the cheese. Overall, maybe it was just a bad experience, but I won’t be wasting my time or money again.

Not sure if this place is good. I saw the rating so I drove all the way there wanted to try it. I got there at 8:30 and the store is closed. If you are not open, why advertise that you close at 9? That just doesn’t make sense.

I’ve been eating at Dante for years. The food is fresh and cooked in a skillet in front of you. The ownership is friendly. The best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had!

This is a great neighborhood italian trattoria, disguised as a pizza place. Been here a couple times — I’ve tried the pizza, burger, and sandwiches, all great. It has a few small tables so you could sit and enjoy your grub, but I’ve always done takeout. The Pesto Chicken sandwich was incredible — get it with the hots on it, takes it up a notch. It’s a good mix of pesto flavor, tender juicy chicken breast, cheese and fresh bread. Couldn’t ask for more. As my friend put it, she’d travel back here to have this sandwich again. The burger was pretty much as advertised, a standard burger but better than Lee’s Burgers around the corner, and very fairly priced. Fries have black pepper on them, which I was pleasantly surprised by.

Decent delivery place. Was in the mood for a cheesesteak and this looked like it could be my new go to classic pizza delivery place so I gave it a shot. Minimum delivery amount required me to get a small pizza too, nbd. So the results: Small cheese pizza — decent. Fluffy, not chewy not crunchy crust. Tasty sauce and cheese. I’m a crust guy so not my favorite but I’d order again Cheesesteak —(steak and cheese. First warning sign). Meh. Little greasy, not a lot of cheese and the cheese is orange. Bread is a little sweet almost and fluffy too. It’s good, not a real cheesesteak though. The search continues.

Really love this place! Whether you walk in or get delivery, this place doesn’t seem to disappoint. The chicken ziti broccoli is amazing, as are the Cuban sandwiches. Great variety and great service… everyone is really friendly! Only 4 out of 5 stars for a minor reason… when you place an order on the phone, it can be inconsistent… I’ve been put on hold & forgotten about a few times and yes, very seldom, but enough to dock it down a star. The food though is what’s important, and sandwiches, pastas and pizzas are superb!

Best pizza place in Brookline, hands down! Delivery is always spot on. Slices available if your in a rush. But if you have some time, take a seat in the restaurant and enjoy! The owners care about their food and the fact that they are incredibly friendly is just a bonus. Best part is they have much more than pizza. Chicken parmesan and meatball subs are my favorites. Their pasta dishes are equal to that of the north end restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone who cares about good pizza and Italian food.

Don’t be fooled. Dante is a superior trattoria in the guise of a local pizza place(which is much better than the more common opposite). Be sure to ask david«what’s new,» because he is given to adding items that strike his fancy without announcement.

Inspect your food carefully. I was served a chicken sandwich with raw chicken. That said, the bite I had before I discovered the raw meat had soft bread, and flavorful pesto. The sandwich had a good ratio of red peppers. Also, the sandwich was a generous size. Too bad it went it the garbage. I just hope I don’t get food poisoning. :(

What a lovely cozy pizza shop next to our other favorite place, Knight’s Move. Been here a few times and ordered various things from their menu. Ranging from pizza, to wrap, to even a simple slice of cheese. Everything is great, and made fresh. Foreseeing some more trips here.

This review is based on coming here 5 times. I live right down the street and I like to patronize local buisinesses. The food is completely average/mediorcre italian american. Don’t avoid the food, but don’t seek it out. The service is bad. Most of the time rude(are these guys all hungover zombies?) and all of the time late. «That’ll be 15 – 20 minutes» is always 35– 40 minutes.

I’ve been blessed to live next to this place for 3 years. I probably order 1−2x a week… Maaaaybe 3 ;). Solid, solid, family owned restaurant. It always taste like they’re putting real effort into the food and the prices are great.

Excellent food and very nice staff. I recommend their pizza(any type) and the chicken Marsala is amazing and very filling enough for two people. I will be coming here for a while. Thank you for the great food.

Lots of pizza competition in the area. They refused to honor the 10% discount for ordering online– poor customer service over a few bucks. That may have colored our appreciation for the pizza itself but Otto’s & Panelli’s in Brookline seem to make better pizza.

Absolutely delicious! They deliver and deliver pretty quick which is nice. Try the Caesar salad, I think it is the best ever, though sometimes they overdo it on the dressing. The price is great and overload you on food. Chicken parm sandwich and meatball sub are to die for!

Delicious pizza. Great crust and tasty topping. Great price too comparing to other pizzerias. We go there regularly and will definitely keep doing that
