LSAT Prep– Tutoring and Classes

At 180 Degrees LSAT, we only offer test prep for one exam: the LSAT. Why? It is significantly different than any other standardized test due to the fact that it tests a skill as opposed to knowledge. Therefore, we teach in a way that develops the skills tested. Many multi-test prep companies prefer to treat it as a knowledge test and fail at producing desirable results.

180 Degrees LSAT specializes in the development of the critical thinking and analytical skills necessary for success on both the LSAT and in law school. It is more challenging way to teach but it is also more effective and is applicable to more than just the test in front of you.

We also specialize in individualized teaching methods. While most companies teach all students the same way, we tailor curriculum and teaching stye to the student both in tutoring and in our classes.

We have offices in both Manhattan and Brooklyn.

History

Established in 2006.

Larkin Robson (owner/tutor) began teaching the LSAT in 2006. After completing his JD at NYU Law in 2010 he decided to pursue teaching the LSAT as opposed to a legal career. He registered his business under the name 180 Degrees LSAT in 2012 while opening up a second office location on the Upper East Side. In 2012, he also expanded to offer LSAT classes in order to provide quality LSAT instruction to students at an affordable price.

Larkin R.

Business Owner

Larkin Robson has been teaching the LSAT independently for over six years. He studied philosophy at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he earned his bachelors degree. As a philosophy major he received formal training in logic, an important skill for taking the LSAT. After college Larkin scored a 180 on the LSAT, a perfect score. Larkin also graduated from New York University School of Law. He has experience tutoring a wide variety of students. He has taught the LSAT successfully to hundreds of students, including experienced professionals going back to school, inexperienced college students who have never seen the LSAT before, and many individuals who have tried other test prep companies and/or other tutors with little to no success. In addition he has taught the LAT in classes at undergraduate and law schools. He still continues as the head tutor at 180 Degrees LSAT.
