501 Auctions

The organization I work for picked out 501 Auctions for our annual auction a few months before I started my job. That said, I have been the primary contact between 501 and our organization for the past few months. When we were ready to set up our website, a call was set up between myself, my boss, and our project manager, Paul.
Paul was insanely helpful every step of the way, from setting up our website to giving us tips on running the auction and answering all of my little questions. Setting up and maintaining our personal website has been so simple and easy to learn. We did have a few members who had some issues with registering and purchasing tickets but the more computer savvy members haven’t had much of an issue.
Night of the event, Jon (a co-​founder) was there to help us. He trained our volunteers before the event started and (minus a few of our own small issues) things went off without a hitch. During the planning, Paul recommended we wait to close our silent auction until a few minutes after the live auction ended and we have received TONS of feedback about how great that was. Our members also loved the leaderboard we had running during the event (through the 501 site).
On my end, the whole process could not have been easier. Literally the only complaint I could come up with is that I would have liked to be able to more easily post multiple pictures for each item (I had to host them somewhere then use the source code to have them show where I wanted them).
Our auction this year raised the most money it ever has (with fewer attendees and live items) and 501 Auctions definitely planned a large role in that.
