History

Established in 1990.

The Wedding Ring Experience was first created in London as the result of a challenge thrown down by our founder, Simon Lewis, in the locker room of his Rugby football team after a game! Knowing of his fine reputation and artistic skill as a jeweler, one of his team-​mates asked Simon if he would make the wedding bands for him and his bride. Jokingly, Simon replied «Why don’t you make them yourself? I’ll show you how.» The rest, as they say — is history

Andrea Cobb X.

Manager

Having dabbled in professional pursuits (teaching among them) and traveled the world, Andrea Cobb realized there was no escaping the person you are meant to be. She has always made things. Like most of her fellow Artisans, Andrea is driven by the need to create. It is what makes her happiest in this world. She experimented with and worked her way through various materials — up to metal. Metal was The One. She studied sculpture at Sarah Lawrence College and then metalsmithing at Studio Jewelers Ltd, and her destiny became clear. She happily succumbed to the creation of small treasures — with a little smile of perfect happiness. She is now a full time jeweler and sells her designs in boutiques across the US as well as craft fairs.
