I had been looking to get a new pair of glasses for about a year, and had been checking out different optical stores. I was walking along 7^th Ave and came across Advanced Eyecare and loved the display of unique eyewear that was in the window, but the store was closed at the time, but I knew I had to come back. I did return and the owner Izack was very helpful in helping me choose a frame that was best suited for me, and was honest in his opinion about what looked good or didn’t look good on me. He had a nice array of named brand and unique frames at competitive prices. I wasn’t ready to purcase any glasses at the time, but Izack told me to come back anytime when I was ready. I did go back and I picked out the frames I wanted and also did an eye exam. The best part of all, is that he works on the glasses on sight and you can get your glass within a day or two! Unlike most optical stores that take weeks. Izack was very nice and professional, will work with you and may provide you with a discount, and they do accept Flexiable spending. He didn’t charge me for th eye exam, which was great! I purchased a new pair of Celine glasses and was able to pick them up in 2 days, and I love them and have been receiving a lot of compliments! Izack even called me a few days later to see how I was making out with my new glasses, and said that if I have any minor problems with them to come in and he will fix it. If you are looking for a boutique eyewear store, with a courteous, friendly and professional staff, this is the place!

Best eye shop in Park Slope with the best selection AND customer service! After trying on dozens of frames in various shops in the area, I wandered into Advanced Eyecare and met Izack. As soon as I walked in and saw the stylish specs, I was feeling good about making a purchase. After talking with the friendly and knowledgeable Izack, I was sold. He was patient with me while I tried on many frames and once he understood the style I was going for, he selected some that I wouldn’t have chosen on my own. Long story short, I committed to a pair of Fendi glasses that are perfect for my face and style on his recommendation! They weren’t even the most expensive pair I was considering. He wants to make sure the customer is happy and looks good. He has frames in many styles and price ranges. Highly recommended!

Isaac provided great service with a wonderful selection of funky and fun eyewear for the stylish guy or gal! Quick turnaround (less than 24 hours!) and he even threw in some sweeteners. Would highly recommend.

I HIGHLY recommend this place. I’ve been to a couple eyecare places in Park Slope, and to be honest, I think this place is hands-​down the best. The selection is nice, the interior is simple and classy, but really it all comes down to one guy: Izack. Yes, I thought it was spelled Isaac, but I was wrong. Anyway, Izack is a very kind, efficient man, who treats his customers with integrity and respect. He is not «fast» or «pushy» like some other Eyecare places in Park Slope; he takes his time and lets you take yours.
I ordered sunglasses there, and when I saw the tinting, it wasn’t enough. Izack immediately sent them back to the factory to get them done the way I wanted. He didn’t complain or hesitate; I was the customer and my happiness was paramount. Now that’s service. I will definitely come back here, and I recommend you do the same.

Love Love this store will be returning soon with my mother. I purchase glasses for my 11yr old daughter and myself … The prices are great and the store owner Issac is super friendly he help picked our frames even for my niece that was not looking to purchase she ended up getting sun shades. He also was cool discounts and is willing to work out a payment. Love my frames we get great compliments.

There are a lot of choices for glasses and contacts on this stretch of 7^th Ave, but Advanced Eyecare wins the gold on selection, speed (they have their own lab on site), and SERVICE! Isaac, the owner, is kind, genuine and will do everything he can to help out a customer. Highly recommend!

Don’t let the fact that this store is in pricey Park Slope stop you. The owner provides very competitively priced services and products with EXCEPTIONAL customer service. Eye exams are affordable and included in price of the frames if you buy from them. I appreciate not being «up sold» frames outside my budget I am extremely happy with my new pair of glasses and will go back.

Such a great business. I found Advanced Eyecare through Unilocal reviews, so thought I should contribute, too. There is a great selection of frames, and Isaac, the owner, is super helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience, and I love my new sunglasses. Plus, he offered to clean and fix the glasses I was wearing so they’re more comfortable. Definitely will go back.

I walked into Advanced Eyecare to ask if they would be able to repair my sunglasses, even though this is clearly a high-​end boutique. The store manager (or owner) was unbelievably generous and offered to repair my glasses immediately. He expected nothing in return, despite my insistent offer to pay for his services. A truly generous man and a place I recommend going to for good service with eye/​sun glasses.

Great experience here getting my 4 year old daughter’s first pair of glasses. Isaac was fantastic with her — I highly recommend for anyone with little kids. My daughter picked out a cute pair she loves, and Isaac had a great bedside manner as he adjusted the frames to her face. The store is neat, modern and comfortable, with water, wine and chocolates available for the customers.

Love this store! Went in with a vintage pair of sunglasses and Isaac quickly diagnosed the issue with my frames and fixed them in just a few minutes. There is an extensive assortment of frames to choose from, and the space is warm and inviting. There are many comfortable chairs, and complimentary water and wine! Isaac extended the kind of expertise and customer care that is a rare and special gift to find these days. We will be back soon for our next purchase and experience.

My eyeglass frames broke and and i bought a replacement pair online very cheap. I went into the shop to ask if they would mind popping the old lenses into the new frames. Even though i had not made any purchase at this store, they were very kind and more than willing to do this service for me for free and they were extremely friendly. Nice people, good experience.

Walked in today, got a great deal on my new D&G’s, everyone was so helpful and nice, gonna make this my go to place for sunglasses. Issac you rock!!!

Came in here today got a pair of ray bans nice new addition to the neighborhood… Well setup store great service Isaac picked out the right glasses the right frame and for the right price. I also got 20 percent off less than I would of paid online… This place will see me again

Stumbled in here by accident and I’m glad I did. I’m about a day late for my VDAY gift as I thought I’d get punished for that but no guess what ISSAC the store manager or GM had me covered. I picked out the hottest Celine glasses for my wife I know I’ll be off the hook now. Get this, I also received a park slope discount. As I see other eye stores this place has a new selection great atmosphere but most of all a great contact to know. Thank you for saving me on post VDAY gift!

Over the past few weeks, I have been looking a new pair of eye glasses. Every time I’m out walking with my girlfriend and see an eye glasses store I’m interested in, I drag her in to look for a possible pair. We were walking down 7^th Ave a Sunday afternoon and happened to pass Advanced Eyecare, so of course I went in for a quick glance about.
From the beginning, Isaac (the store owner) was friendly and helpful. He asked for the style I liked and right away was pulling out multiple pairs for me to try on, even giving feedback on what he thought looked good and what didn’t. I tend towards unique styles, like some classic ‘80s aviators or funky looking horn-​rimmed glasses, and Isaac was able to find a Prada pair that matched my style perfectly. Prior to visiting Advanced Eyecare, I had found another pair I liked at a different store, but was quoted around $ 750 for frames and lenses. At Advanced, I ended up paying around $ 450 for the pair and glasses after everything was said and done, which is a hell of a lot better pricing for probably a better pair of glasses. Isaac also offers a great deal on insurance where you can pay an extra $ 25 for 50% off another pair if anything happens to the pair you purchase.
After I purchased the glasses, Isaac let me know that they would be ready for pickup the afternoon or evening of the next day. Sure enough, I got a call just after noon or so the next day from him letting me know the glasses were ready. He was quick, easy, professional and friendly, so it was really a fantastic experience. I even received a call from him a few days ago (about a week after picking up my glasses) checking in to see how I liked the glasses and if everything was good with them. Can’t recommend Isaac or his selection enough!

there are quite a few eyeglass stores on 7^th ave. we spent a lot of money up the street for my daughter’s glasses. after they were eaten by our dog, we went shopping again and found Isaac’s store. Isaac was super helpful. Took one look at our daughter and picked out 3 frames that fit her head perfectly. she found a winner. cheaper than the last pair. we were in and out. Iasaac is a real pro. we picked up the glasses a few days later.
oh and thankfully we got the insurance…
a week later our dog ate her new pair of glasses! thanks to the insurance, we saved a bunch more money on the next pair. Isaac provided us with great customer service and was able to get the exact frames in a few days.

These guys are nothing short of awesome. Very friendly, knowledgable, great selection and fast turnaround (they got my glasses back to me in only a couple of days even though it was over the New Years weekend). The pricing was also very reasonable especially compared to other stores in the area. I would recommend them without hesitation.
