I had the pleasure of welcoming Juan on an early Saturday evening. He came within 30 minutes and when my neighbor passed by, he also observed how honest and efficient he was. I will definitely be calling this company again and am prepared to fully recommend them. Juan was also very kind in answering any and all questions I had with inspiring patience. As clearly stated in their prominent yellow page advertisement, no extra fees were charged given the weekend hours.

They came from E. Flatbush to Clinton Hill, quoted me 75% less than everywhere else. Were fast and honest. I would definitely recommend them.

Mohammed came within 30min of my call and changed my locks in under 10min. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable of his skill. Most importantly, there was no service fee and the price was affordable. Would certainly recommend him to anyone.

Very prompt and professional. I called at 2:30 and was told someone would be there is 30 minutes. At 3 someone was outside. I changed the locks on my screen door and garage door. The technician was very efficient and courteous. I purchased a lock from homedepot for the screen door. They provided the cylinder for the garage door. Total cost was $ 125. I will definitely use them again.

We needed a new cylinder, called Affordable Locksmith, got a quick (within less than an hour), efficient, affordable and pleasant service by Mohhamed. Highly recommended.

Mohammed came over right away when I had trouble changing the cylinder in my lock. Other locksmiths had estimated significantly more than Mohammed and they were not able to come over. Mohammed came over in less than 30 min and able to fix the problem with the cylinder and replace a plate in the lock. He was quick efficient and knowledgeable.

I called these guys after one of my tenants recommended them (when she locked herself out of her apartment). I needed the front door for the building to be changed after constantly having problems. I was told by the lady on the phone that Mohammed would be there in twenty minutes. Aside from the fact that we have the same name, I felt even more comfortable when he showed up in fifteen minutes.
He recommended that I changed the Adams Rite lock mechanism for the front door lock to the building and I went one step further and told him to change the cylinder as well. He quoted me at $ 180 total which is cheaper than what most locksmiths charge. He only uses original Adams Rite mechanisms and American made cylinders. When he was finished, everything looked and felt better than the original made in China lock that came with the door.
I told him to go ahead and change another cylinder and mechanism next door which occasionally gives me trouble. He went ahead and quickly installed it. He also advised me with recommendations for maintenance to prolong the life of my locks. The whole time, we’re laughing and making good small talk about life in the locksmith world.
He had enough keys for both cylinders for my tenants and myself. Later that night, my tenants text me to thank me about how great the door locks and opens. #winning
All in all, I’ve never had such a good experience with a locksmith. I’ve usually dealt with overpriced locksmiths that only sell poor quality equipment. Finally, I have a locksmith that I can recommend to others whole heartedly and say, «trust me, they’re good.»

There have been security issues in my building so I wanted to get a deadbolt installed on my metal door. I called yesterday at 3pm and he was here today at 10am to install a deadbolt.
He was nice, prompt, and did a good job. Only complaint is that the girl on the phone quoted me $ 100 for a deadbolt in a metal door (which did seem incredibly cheap based on what I’ve heard around Brooklyn) and he told me it was $ 150. He apologized for her mistake, said he couldn’t do it for that little, checked with her on the phone (she of course insisted that she never told me $ 100, but I am not hard of hearing). He gave me an upgrade on the lock to a more expensive one that matched the color of my door handle for my trouble.
I would use them again!

Mohammed was super prompt (estimate was 40min and he arrived in 30min), helpful, courteous, and funny. He was fast with installing my new deadbolt lock for extra security and to stop my door from shaking every time someone enters the apartment building. He’s also thorough. He broke a screw off in the door frame but made sure to correct it before leaving. Last but not least, this company is super affordable. I used a locksmith when I lived in Manhattan and was charged nearly $ 200 just for a regular cylinder replacement when I locked myself out. I was charged way less with this company even though I wasn’t even locked out. Use them. I promise you won’t regret it. I just got my deadbolt installed today but I’m sure I won’t need to update this review at all. Super happy! :)

Great company!!! A lady picked up when I called and was polite and said someone would see me today. The locksmith came on time, was polite and professional and will do business with him again. He was also willing to work with me which was greatly appreciated. I have more locks to put on and I definitely will be calling this company!!!

Great service! Was locked out of my room! Gave them a call and within minutes the locksmiths came, and just like magic I was back to my room! And at a reasonable price!

Excellent service. Mohamed arrived on time. He is not only very honest but also very knowledgeable and polite. He told me that I did not need to change the lock that he could fix the problem just by adjusting the door. He gave me the option to keep the existing lock but I decided to change it anyway because the lock was not a safe and it could be open from outside without using the key but Mohamed just replaced the inside doorknob which it allowed me to keep the existing key for the lock. I am extremely pleased with the work that Mohamed did. Price was reasonable but most important the quality of the work. I just wished I had known of Affordable Locksmith & Hardware III Inc. before. I strongly recommend them.

I was in a jam (literally) after my faulty apartment lock finally gave in. My dad actually purchased a new cylinder and spindle but couldn’t get it to work. So I did my research and affordable seemed the best so I called. (This was a Sunday afternoon)
The gentleman on the phone was very helpful and said he would send someone out within the half hour. By the time I got dressed to go to the bank (as they only take cash) someone arrived. The guy fixed the lock and was in and out in about 20 mins. And for $ 65 I have absolutely no complaints!

Okay, where do I start!
This by far is the best locksmith in Brooklyn or manhattan.
Muhumad was the the most talented and quick worker I ever had the pleasure to work for me !
When he got to the job there was nothing in this old brownstone in Brooklyn that you could predict do to the age of everything on these old doors.
Yet he installed all the locks in a quick time, and the quality of the work was perfect!
My whole estimate that he wrote for me had to be changed because of the age of this building and he was so fare with the price even though he had to do twice the amount of work!
I’m in real estate and I will be using this group every time!
Don’t wast your time or money calling any other lock smith,

I called Affordable Locksmith in the evening, after normal business hours and the locksmith was at my house within the hour. I had purchased my own lock earlier that day, but it turned out the lock would not work for my door so he sold me another lock which was less expensive and less heavy-​duty. I was happy with the job he did, but not happy with that lock. It just felt flimsy and it felt like the knob would come off every time I locked the door. So I called them back the next day and they sent the guy out again. He took the lock off the door and put on the lock I bought and gave me a refund for the lock he sold me the night before.
The locksmith was right in that the lock didn’t fit the door properly but after a visit from the welder, all is well. I have a heavy duty lock for my heavy iron door and now I feel much more secure.
These guys are professional, they know what they’re doing and they are fair and don’t try to cheat you. I would definitely use them again.
