Never again.
I reserved an SUV for work, to be picked up at 7am, confirmed 2 weeks beforehand, reconfirmed it the day before… then upon arrival found the place closed initially. Not until 7:45 did someone walk in that knew I had a reservation, however they claimed they had no way of contacting me despite several email correspondences between myself and one of their employees (not to mention the phone call I had with them the day before) so that they could tell me there was no SUV at their Ft Hamilton location.
Then I had to be driven to another location several miles away to pick up the car, hitting traffic all the way (the traffic I was hoping to avoid).

Used this location again recently. The cars where a little more used than usual but they prices and costumer service were just as great as the last time! Will be back.

Very reasonably priced: they were half the rate for Labor Day weekend of competitors! The place office itself is very spare, but the service was quick and efficient. Risa, the rep who worked with me, was helpful and personable, and she had me up and running within a half hour. Nice computerized system to get you checked in!
The car itself was not new (unlike the bigger outfits which generally have current year models) — it had 50,000 miles on it and lacked accessories like a USB connector. Beyond a few dings in the body, it was clean and functional and served us well during our 4 day trip to the Catskills.
I only gave them 4 out of 5 because I couldn’t return the car on Labor Day and had to return at 7 am on Tuesday morning, but then again, no other car rental company does that anyway.
It’s an inexpensive alternative to the big rental car agencies which I’ll definitely use over and over again.

AllCar has consistently provided me with the best deals, mileage, and service for my needs. Sometimes i rent for a work function and i need a bigger van with seats taken out and the guys always help me out. The folks at the front desk always ask if everything was ok with the vehicle. Very attentive. We live in Park Slope and all the other rental car agencies in our neighborhood are always sold out, too expensive, and poor customer service. Not the case at AllCar.

First of all let me explain that I was in an absolute bind the 4^th of july weekend. It was 7pm and they were about to close and this lovely gentleman, Benzi, completely saved my life! He stood late to accommodate me to make sure I would get a car that day.

All car rocks. People are reasonable to deal with. Rates are good. They don’t guilt you into extra insurance.

AllCar continues to be a pleasant rental experience!

I often use this All Car location, and I really like the friendly and courteous service provided by Benzi and Reisa. I would highly recommend this location and their excellent customer service.

I Currently Rented a car from the Fort Hamilton branch,
my experience was the best a called up to let them know that I will be there in a half hour to pick up a car, when I got the there was a gentleman his Name is Benzi, he is just an amazing person he greeted me with a pleasant smile he made my rental experience very friendly and exciting, the car was ready to go I was out of there within minutes.
I will definitely recommend my friends.

Depressing and dirty location and office. Car was squeezed in junky lot amid wrecked and crashed vehicles. Location seems busy, but it was mostly people who I assumed are employees constantly walking in an out. I was the only customer there, and waited 20 minutes while the lone guy behind the counter was on the phone; other people walked in, looked at my paperwork and then would promptly leave without saying a word. Everyone seemed a prime combination of unaware, lazy, and confused. Reservation agent conveniently forget to tell me that they charge a $ 500 deposit when renting. Upon return, I paid the $ 80 charge with cash, and then was told the deposit «may take 30 days to find it’s way back to your account.» When I balked at that, they told me to «take it up with my bank.» If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
Good: nice car
Bad: everything else

Our of all their locations, nobody gives better service.
Some of the other spots can go between douchey and nice, then right back again.
This place has an okay selection of cars, but you’ll likely find cars in better condition, because they do lots of repairs.
Anyway, I’ve rented from these folks a few times, and they always hook it up.
They are even willing to drive you to other locations (or have the car driven to you) if they dont have what you want there.
They are my only choice in Brooklyn for car rentals!
