Angel Gift Nail Spa

I have been visiting Angel Gift Salon for nearly 2 years to receive blissful and relaxing nail services. Their manicurists are truly exceptional and professional. I usually get UV gel on my fingernails because I work in an office and regular manicures do not last an hour. On the last visit, I showed up a bit before closing time and they still gave me full attention and made my nails beautiful! Of course I went to work Monday morning and chipped a nail (heart wrenching, I know) I went back to the salon and May (I believe that’s what she said her name is) redid the whole nail as well as polishing a new top coat for all the rest of my nails. And she refused my additional tips! I did not want to take up her time and not pay her for it but she insisted. The salon offers a «buy 10 manicures, get one free» incentive and I’m nearly at my free mani! Love this place!

This place are not professional, i make pedicure and french gel polish they take 55 $ after one week It became the color peels off because it put me dry color and put a very small amount! And the pedicure was so fast she didn’t make anything! I will Never go to this place

So I’m here again! Honestly I love this place. And Janet has now become my favorite because she pays such close attn to detail! 2 of my nails cracked so she gave me a filling and did those two over and she did such a great job! I’m a sticker for polish. Most people miss the corners or leave streaks and she made sure everything was perfect. And I was in a rush. I only had an hour so instead of getting a full pedi. I just got a polish change on my toes to match my nail color and she was very accommodating. Even in a «rush» I still left completely satisfied.

Not understanding what’s the hype about this place at all. They make you wait like a little more than an hour and give priority to the regulars. I kid you not I had gel done and within less than two weeks the gel on four fingers started cracking. It hasn’t even been a complete two weeks and it already starting falling apart. Aside from the cracking, my two nails began to actually chip. Their gel quality is so bad you can try it yourself and see but I guarantee you will somehow have one of the two issues with your nails. That wasn’t the first time I come here either where my nails began to crack/​chip. There’s much better quality gel in many salons in Bay Ridge. Try Mimis or Jen Reve. Avoid this place.

Stopped by Monday afternoon, wasn’t busy at all. I didn’t make any appointments and was seated right away for my gel nail which was around $ 25. The lady did a really good job on my nails. She shaped them round and worked on each hand really well. For sure I am coming back here with my friends to check on the pedicure service.

First time trying this place out — waited 5 mins before a pedicure chair was free, which for a Sunday in Bay Ridge is awesome.
Walking in my impression was its nice, great selection of colors, beautifully set up & very welcoming staff. I was offered water — which others places I’ve been to haven’t done that so that’s a bonus for me.
I was placed in a pedicure chair & my massage chair was put on then waited another 2 mins considering how busy they were. I asked what kind of Spa Pedicures they offered — I got a booklet & I selected Lavender Mint. The Lavender Mint Spa Pedicure was a total of $ 35 with a 15 minute massage & other goodies.
The lady who took care of me named Lena — very nice & gentle. She applied an awesome mask on my legs wrapped it up with plastic wrap and continued on with my pedicure. I had a wonderful massage & seriously she treated my legs & feet like heaven. The massage was so worth it — haven’t had one in a long time especially with the hot stones! I was very happy with the application of my nail polish as I am a little anal when that’s done but she did not disappoint.
I will most definitely be back — I’m a happy customer :)

Horrible service. The lady doesn’t know what a straight line is. I said straight & she cut circle. She can’t cut evenly! The owners won’t do anything at all. Horrible ! Horrible ! Don’t ever go there. If I can give 0 stars I will give this place. Horrible nail salon

This is my go-​to nail spot even though it’s a bit far for me, the trip is worth it. Prices might be a tad bit higher than other salons but the service is a big difference. They are very attentive and accommodating. This is where I go for a little me time and treat to myself. They use clean tools and open the package right in front of you. They also line their pedicure tubs. A regular pedicure includes a mini foot massage, exfoliating with a lemon scented scrub, hot stone, and paraffin wax treatment!
I always go to Susan, the boss lady, for gel tips. I think that’s what it’s called. It’s gel powder that’s dried under UV light. She takes a lot of time just shaping it to the perfect length and shape I like. People here are super friendly– they ask if you’d like some water before you even sit down. Susan saw that I was sleepy and offered me coffee as well. Anyways back to the nails. I always ask her to do designs that take a ridiculous amount of time but she would always try her best to satisfy my crazy ideas. The most recent set, I wanted marble and chevron design and even though she never did marble nails, we figured a way to do it and it came out nicely (I posted a picture of it here). Sometimes they would stay a bit later past the closing time to make sure what you get is quality and I really appreciate that! Prices are very reasonable for the amount of work they do. When you are drying your nails, they would also massage you for a bit. I will be a loyal customer as long as they keep up their good performance!

The staff are very friendly I love the spa pedicures, they also use the hot stones at the end of your pedicure.

A bag is placed into the tub before you dip your feet. The pedicure is followed by a massage and hot stones.
The manicure table is clutter free. Fan is built into the table and UV light. May placed disposable fingerless glove on my hands, for the UV. As I waited for the hands to dry she gave me an awesome shoulder massage with olive oil and finished it off with a hot towel. And same on my hands.

If you want to be pampered after a hard day you should definitely check this place out. It is a little more expensive but it’s well worth it. They are very sanitary with all their utensils and at the end the shoulder massages… YESSS !! I am only giving it 4 stars because not everyone works there seem to do a wonderful job. Joyce is my go to, very nice and pleasant. does a good job.

Great job and it isn’t that expensive at all. It’s worth the extra few bucks. I had the long last OPI manicure and a pedicure and it cost $ 35. They offer you a drink when you walk in and are very polite and friendly.
I love that they are sanitary with the covers for the foot tub. They use the hot stones and paraffin.
They have soooo many color choices for gel. I would definitely come back for one of the dos pedicures because they have awesome choices like lavender, green tea, chocolate, milk & honey and they come with a 15 minute foot massage for $ 35.

Always treated well here. A drink offered upon arrival. Great manicure and pedicure. Little extras make it worth the extra money.

I love doing my nails it’s one thing I will probably as a girl and woman will be doing for the rest of my life regardless of anyone’s opinion.
I began coming here last year like 4 times, all were acrylic tips. Susan is the greatest, like the best of the best, with gel and acrylics, she takes her time and dedicates herself. And her right hand girl.
Yet, I took a star away because for the past two visits I have been a bit disappointed. For the first visit it was not busy at all, and yet Susan passed me to a man? to finish shaping and painting my nails. I dunno I got uncomfortable.
Then for my second visit a new Spanish girl was there. She was sweet but my nails didn’t last the week. And she left the one on my pointer finger smaller than the rest, she doesn’t have experience, sorry but I didn’t give a $ 4 tip.
I’m currently looking for a new place. This one gets busy on weekends, heads up!

All the ladies that work here are so nice, they offer you complimentary tea coffee water.
The pedicure chairs are amazing, new, and clean.
After rubbing lotion on your feet and legs they rub hot stones on you. It’s awesome. After your all finished they give u a simple 5 min massage. It’s a lil more expensive then other salons. But worth every penny.

I tried this nail salon yesterday for the 1^st time and I love the place already. I was initially going to one about 2 blocks away because they have a mani/​pedi special for $ 13 on Mondays-​Wednesday but when I walked in the technician looked at me so I said «Mani/​pedi please» and she asked that I come back the next day as she was alone, already had a customer and wouldnt be able to work on me before closing time (I even rushed there from work, grrr!)
So I walked into Angel Nail salon and noticed right away how clean they are. They use plastic to cover the pedi chair pool. I ended up paying 2x as much but the pedicure was exceptional. Sophia, the nail technician, offered me something to drink. She used hot stones to massage my feet and right before putting on the nail polish she placed a heel treatment gel. I loved the basket they use to place your bag, coat and shoes in which they place next to you wherever they move you.
I was displeased with the fact that when I asked if they take cards they neglected to tell me they would charge me taxes if I used a card instead of paying with cash. I had only taken out $ 20 from the bank down the block (as I only planned on spending $ 13 at the other salon) and the mani/​pedi at Angel Gift was $ 26. But since they took cards I didn’t bother going back to the bank to take out another $ 20. Sophia ended up charging me $ 28.70, thus why I only gave 4 stars.
When your hands are drying they rub your back (which I don’t care for much). And they give you a card to record each visit. 10 visits (or mani) and you get the 11^th free.
Bringing my husband next time!

Went here for the 1^st time. It was well worth the wait as it was a busy Saturday. Friendly, clean, tons of colors, more like a spa. This just might be my new spot. It gets my stamp of approval!

Every time I go there i’m very happy with the results! Reasonably priced, clean, professional, kind, free massage after mani and pedi, coffe/​tea/​water offered, great massage chairs, news in the TV… What else do u want? Oh yes, each time I go they recognize me and I’ve only been few times. That’s impressive. My favorite nail place.

They opened a new, bigger and more expensive nail salon on 3^rd ave and 79^th street. I noticed a lot of new people the other day but the girl I had was still very good! It’s pretty consistent here no matter who you get.
I definitely recommend getting a spa pedicure. They do a really good job and spend a long time on your legs and feet! You’ll feel so relaxed!

Decided to drop by after raving Unilocal reviews and I was not disappointed.
Came here on a weekday at 11pm and the place was empty. I asked for a pedicure and a gel mani. I opted for the Sweet green tea spa pedicure for 45 $. The pedicure lasted for one whole freaking hour! The lady first started by adding green powder to the water, followed by a leg scrub, leg mask, 20 minute leg massage, paraffin heel treatment, and the list goes on. It felt like it was never ending. The massage chair actually WORKS. I complimented the lady on how good the massage was and she took the opportunity and asked if I wanted 10 minutes longer for 10 $ extra. OF COURSE she did. Now what Asian would she be if she didn’t work the Asian Hustle? I politely declined.
Onto the gel manicure. I was literally blown away by how many gel colors they provided. They had several brands like shellac, OPI, etc. The place I usually go to only had around 10 – 20 colors available. I believe this place has around 70+ gel colors. No matter what brand you choose, a gel mani costs you 25 $. I opted for OPI — Cajan shrimp, a vibrant red color. The color came out gorgeous! The ladies that work there were extremely nice and knows how to take care of you. I spent around 2 hours here, it felt like I’ve gone to a Spa!
This place isn’t extremely expensive but you can definitely find something cheaper around the area. I left with 78 $ out my pocket which is A LOT considering you can get a mani/​pedi for 15 $ in most places. But you’re getting quality here and I never get cheap when it comes to pampering myself. It’s been almost 2 weeks and my mani/​pedi still looks fresh and vibrant. If you don’t treat yourself well, who will? Ladies, INVEST IN YOURSELF. You deserve it! I can’t wait to come back again!
