I buy a lot of my clothes from this place but, God, do they have the rudest sales associates I have ever seen in my life. The older lady who is in charge of the dressing room has a perpetually angry look on her face. Same goes for all sales persons at the checkout. They are never pleasant or make a small talk. They do not smile or say«thank you». I keep going there because I like the clothes and the prices but I just learned to ignore the attitude from the sales associates.

The store is big which is good but, there is a few sales associates who are extremely rude and have the most attitude i have ever seen!!! Very unprofessional, how can a manager over see who he/she is hiring to represent their bussiness? There is one sales associate in particular by the fiting room, i couldnt see her name so i will describe her physically. She was Hispanic, on the heavier side, short with hair in a pony tail. I went to this store a few times and its always the same woman who gives people a hard time when asked a question, she wount even look at you, she answers with some much attitude and disrespect! If you dislike your job so much that you wount even make eye contact and answer in at least a decent manner, why be there? She presents herself as if she wants to fight every time you approach her. Its shocking, people like that should be in anger management groups rather then working around people. Its very sad. I hope the manger cares enough for the other sales associates and their customers to do something about this woman. she needs help and she is not going to get it in annie sez. There is another sales associate who is also very careless and unprofessional. I had an item i wanted to try on and i needed a different size so i asked for help, and what happens they completly forget about me, i stood in the fitting room for 20 mins and she never came, my husband said to leave because no one is coming for help apparently. So i left, and found my size by myself. I mean from rude cashiers to floor sales associates something needs to be done otherwise they are just hurting the business for that location. I mean i was a sales associate for many years and i know how its like, there is no need for such unprofessionalism.

I’ve found some great items at great prices here over the years. The layout is constantly changing. There are ALWAYS long lines. Fitting room trials only allow a few items at a time so you constantly have to go back out to try the rest of your choices. Also the fitting rooms are kept locked with no attendant around to open them.

This was my first visit to an «Annie Sez» — I wasn’t familiar with the chain at all. But, I had a Groupon to use, so I thought I’d check it out. Admittedly, my shopping experience may have been a bit inhibited due to having a guy along… but I didn’t immediately find anything I just needed to have. The prices and labels seemed rather mid-range; the merchandise seemed a bit tailored to the local clientele(lots of fur wraps and such). The staff were friendly but not overbearing.

After Century and Loehman’s this is the next place that comes to mind for designer discount shopping madness. Their selection is great, the store is neat and well organized, uncrowded, and obviously the big sell here is reasonably priced. Making this a greta alternative to the former two stores if you’re not in the mood for their consistent claustrophobic mayhem. Lots of names, lots of sales, and lots of sizes.

Last week I was here, wandering through the racks, and I found $ 200 jeans marked down to under $ 50. They weren’t irregular, they weren’t mis-sized. They are the best fit of any jeans I’ve ever bought. If i wasn’t a believer in the diety that is Annie Sez before, I totally am now.
