I moved my account a year or so ago. They’re not user friendly at all. Their ATM is awful, awful. And they often didn’t have envelopes in the vestibule for the ATM. Maybe it’s better now, but it doesn’t seem that way by other reviews.

Rating is a zero! The worse financial institution I have ever dealt with. I have a mortgage that Astoria acquired several years ago and has been a nightmare since. From making a payment over the phone & Astoria claiming it was never made while I had a confirmation # …to denial of Hazard insurance payment through my escrow account… Then contacted 11months later to collect insurance payment at their outrageous costs. Their claim is there never was an escrow account. There is something very sketchy about this bank. No one seems to know what they are doing, no answers and none knows how to follow up.

Not sure if I can give zero stars or I would. There are 4 tellers and 1 customer rep. There is a bank manager and an assistant, but apparently they were too busy to see that I have been sitting here for almost an hour. But I have watched them go back and furry to each other’s cubicle to chat. And they wonder why I have closed every account I had there

The worst. No concept of customer service. Locked my account without notification due to «suspicious activity». Had to wait 2 weeks for access to my money. While waiting to speak to someone, the one person who was seeing customers was having a very private conversation with a friend in the waiting area. I spent 20 minutes listening to how she was so drunk in a bar she met a guy and took him home for sex. This conversation was very graphic, very unprofessional and when I said something she told me I shouldn’t have listened if I was offended! Closing my accounts and warning everyone I know.
