This place is by far the best cake place I have ever been to. Hey can make you anything you need or want. Just simply tell them and they make it happen. They made my sons birthday cake for his 1^st birthday. It was insanely good and well decorated. A major plus!!!

Checked out their chocolate mousse for the first time. Simply outstanding!

As I turn another year older, the only request I gave my husband was that he’d purchase the Tiramisu cake from Aunt Butchies for me.
Thinking this would be an easy stop, purchase and go… I walked out with the Tiramisu cake, Chocolate Mousse cake and a slice of their Black & White.
THEY WERE ALL DELICIOUS!!!
If you’re unsure which cake to get — buy the individual slices or Sampler cake. More than likely, you will not be disappointed. :)

Convenient bakery if you are on the run. Nothing fancy. They have mostly pastries and drinks. I liked the coffee. There is no seating available but it is not needed.

My cousin had bought their famous chocolate mousse cake to dinner at our home and it was really really good. The next time we had dinner, she got us the red velvet cake and it was delicious as well! So at this point i was pretty convinced to try more of their cakes! Went to pick up a birthday cake for my friend and the lady who helped me was super nice! She explained very well and also showed us pictures of all the cakes they had. We bought a carrot cake and she also helped us do the writing on it. Our friends raved about the carrot cake when they all had it and asked where it was from. I am excited to try more of their cakes! I also noticed they do custom cakes as well. Now i kno where to go to if i ever need a cake done!

i love love this place! i found this place b/​c it’s only a few blocks from my house. every time there is a large gathering I always come here to pick up the sample cake. People always love it and the variety is great. Some of my personal faves are the carrot cake and chocolate mousse cake. If you eat the chocolate mousse cake straight from the fridge is almost has an ice cream cake texture. If you let it sit out for a bit it becomes like a mousse texture. Both ways works for me :)

Been meaning to try this place out, until a friend of mine bought a box over. Nice. She lives in the area and comes very often, it was certainly «on the way» when she came to visit, thanks Katie!
The Sampler comes frozen with 16 slices of cake. Not sure if they’re randomly put in, ours came with 4 slices of NY Cheesecake, 4 slices of Carrot Cake, 4 slices of their White Delight, 2 slices Mississippi Mud, and lastly, 2 slices of Chocolate Mousse Cake.
The Carrot Cake would be my most favorite! Moist, fluffy, so comforting bite after bite, the frosting wasn’t overly sweet either. Another good one that can’t be missed is their Mississippi Mud, just decadent… I just wished there were more of those in the box as it only came in 2 slices. The White Delight was also a big hit, they were all delicious.
Definitely recommend this place for your next party!

White lightning mousse is light and airy. The chocolate mousse is intense without being overpowering. If you ask me, the only place to get mousse! Cheesecake is yummy. The carrot cake, delicious (no raisins, YAY!) Can’t make up your mind? Get the sampler. The Snickers pie is incredible!!! Just give me spoon and some milk & I am good to go! Tiramisu is loaded with coffee goodness. The cupcakes are huge! The yellow cake/​chocolate frosting is pure perfection. Aunt Butchies makes THE best chocolate buttercream frosting ever! Been coming here for years! Always fresh, always delicious! Makes me happy every time!

The pumpkin and chaos cheesecake have been the only flavors I have tried so far. The pumpkin slice was my favorite. It wasn’t too sweet and the texture was firm and creamy. The chaos slice is a mix of brownie, cheesecake and chocolate mouse decorated with some white chocolate on top and walnuts around it. This one wasn’t bad, but the bottom brownie was a little too sweet. Single slices are available in the refrigerator at the entrance, however they don’t have single slices of all flavors at all the times. They have a menu where you can see all the flavors with pictures and you can order the entire cake to take home. They always have all the flavors available as a whole cake. This is a take out place only.

18 years I have been coming here and this is my favorite place for chocolate mousse! Amaretto mousse is great too! Lots of other cakes and desserts to pick from.
Tiny place for takeout only. not a place to stay and eat as they don’t have tables. If you are planning on buying during holidays, better to preorder as they run out very quick.

They have freshly made cake and they’re delicious. If you have like party or so you should really call in advance incase, but I just really love the cake

Oh boy!!! Aunt butchies is awesome, it’s a take out place only and has been like that forever. The chocolate mouse is out of this world and that’s always what I get. I did have some of their other stuff which was awesome as well. It’s amazing how everything tastes exactly the same after all these years!!!

Incredible custom made cakes. You can even order with only one day notice. Cupcakes are really good when you get that sugar attack. Great party idea for kids they teach them how to make and decorate their own cake.

Great cakes. I love the chocolate moose but had reverently discovered the apple crumb! Treat your sweet tooth. Treat your friends and bring a sampler!

I love their cake! It’s so good, but not too decadent. It’s just perfect. You can get the sampler where you can get red velvet cake, white mousse, chocolate mouse, cheesecake and carrot cake in one box for $ 25. You can even put it on the freezer if your planning to save it for as long as three months.

My favorite from them is their red velvet cup cake! Mmm! Moist and delicious but not too sweet!

They have really good cakes here, my favorites from here is the chocolate mousse cake and mixed cheesecake sampler. The prices are very reasonable too. It is better than most the cheesecakes i ate any where else for a fraction of the price. The owners and the workers here are amazing. They are so delightful and friendly.

I remember I needed a birthday cake for my best friends birthday dinner and I was unable to pick it up before closing time. I asked them if there was anything I can do because I was really desperate for this cake. So they kindly gave it to the deli across the street to hold it for me. I went there to pick it up after work.
Half a year ago —
My really good friend was home sick on his birthday and was unable to come out to celebrate. So I wanted to deliver a chocolate mousse cake to his house. I asked them if they can do a delivery to his house. i forgot if they told me they don’t deliver to private houses or only businesses or delivery at all. But again I told them I am really desperate for this cake. The lady on the phone was so nice, she asked her manager/​supervisor if she can do me the favor and deliver it herself after she got off work at 5pm. That is super kind of her to do that even when she is off the clock.
Not only are the cakes here good but the workers and service here is superior !!! Thank you Aunt Butchies for being a life savor 2x !!!

The absolute best place for sweetsyear-​round in Dyker Heights.
The place is far from fancy inside it’s just a line of refridgerators with a chalkboard full of prices.
The food is absolutely amazing. I suggest you get a sampler the first time you do to experience the types of cakes they offer.
The cheesecakes are stellar, but my favorite is the chocolate mousse cheesecake.
Expect to spend 20 – 30 bucks for one box, but it’s worth it every now and then because the quality is great.
You can also get cupcakes too if you do not want a whole cake.
Be warned that the cakes are quazi-​frozen, and you will nedd to let it sit out for a bit so if you are in a rush to eat you might not want to go here.
