When we bought our house it had a backyard with a huge, ugly above-ground pool surrounded by slabs of concrete. We removed the pool and then tried to get someone to break up and remove the concrete. Of the first six places I called only one was willing to do the work. They told me it was a small job, not worth the effort, said they would do it «as a favor», and quoted a price of five thousand dollars. Then I called B & R and struck gold. Angelo was so easy to work with, he showed up when he was supposed to, removed every bit of concrete and cleaned up the mess from the work. And for under a thousand dollars. He’s an old time Brooklyn guy, wish I could adopt him as an uncle.
