Don’t go to this place if you need to get a duplicate set of keys made. The little key maker in the back doesn’t know his job. Yes, each key was cheap, $ 1.25 each. He was able to duplicate three out of four keys. But he kept botching up on the bottom lock key. The botched up key did not match the original. He never filed down on the point. When I showed him the problem, he acted as if I was offending his manhood. Well that’s too damn bad if this dude has to deal with a woman. He was reluctant at first, but did what I told him to do. The key, however, still didn’t work. Instead of going back to argue in vain, I’ve decided to check Unilocal for a decent place in Brooklyn to make duplicate keys. Voila! «5th Avenue Key Shop» did the job correctly without the attitude. I was told that the fellow at «Bath Avenue Hardware» was using a machine that cut too deeply. The faulty key was beyond repair. So why didn’t the little key maker tell me that he wouldn’t be able to make a copy of my key? Or maybe he didn’t know that? So unprofessional!

Needed some plumbing parts for my parents house. Really wasn’t looking forward to driving all the way to Home Depot, so we tried the local spots first. One place didn’t have the part, but suggested we try this place. BINGO!!! Had exactly what we needed and NO Home Depot!!! YAY!
