I’ve been here a couple of times before I absolutely fell in love with my hair when Monika cut it! She made a couple of suggestions and I am thankful she did. My hair is full, Superlayered & amazing. I think I can finally say I have found «the one» (hairstylist). Thank you Monika! :)

I have just had a haircut in Beauty Design, first haircut in NY and I could not be happier, Beata was great! I am really happy with the haircut, I always have short hair and she did a great job making it look really nice! Thanks Beata! totally recommended!

We had a great experience here. We needed a hair cut for our one year old and called and got an appointment in the same day (a Sunday). When we arrived, Alex moved quickly, and it was clear he had experience with little ones! He was super quick overall, did a great job, and did everything with a smile. It was very reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be visiting Alex again!

Beata did a wonderful job with my hair, I had highlights and a haircut done. Color came out great, I have received so many compliments. I visited the salon twice, the salon is clean and everyone working there is friendly. Definitely going back to see Beata for my root touch-​up.

Followed Unilocal reviews and saw Anita for a haircut. She listened to my requests & was thrilled with my haircut. The salon appeared very busy & nice atmosphere. Would def go again!

This is the third time I got my hair done here. This place has officially become my go to spot for getting my hair done. I go to Anita who is incredibly sweet and talented. She does a great job with highlights and achieves a great blonde color that is not brassy at all. I’m used to getting my hair done in upstate ny so I can’t speak entirely about the prices but the price seems pretty reasonable for the city.

I rarely get haircuts — I’m not really a makeup wearing, nail painting, hair maintenance kind of girl. I went here after a promotion at work and was desperate for a new more professional look, but had no idea what I wanted. Alex was awesome, he gave me a few ideas and we went with a trend haircut of short in the back and longer in the front and it was amazing. He took a lot of time to ensure that all my hair was evenly cut — and trimmed while wet and dry. It felt decadent and I felt hip with my new cut. Thanks Alex for the transformation.

I’m pretty sure this is my first ever review but after going to Beauty Design on Wednesday, I was the happiest I’ve ever been with my hair color and I knew I had to write a review. My roommate actually found the place on Unilocal.Like me, she was looking for the perfect blonde and for someone who doesn’t leave your hair brassy. She loved the reviews on Anita and booked an appointment. Her hair looked so amazing that I too did my research and made an appointment with her. I called on Monday and was seen on Wednesday. Anita was completely thorough and listened to my needs and wants. Im always nervous when I get my color touched because in my experience it’s either veered towards orange or the hair stylist barely made a noticeable change, and for a ton of money. I knew I would love my hair before she even rinsed it out. I got full highlights and she also put color over it (not affecting the highlights) To even out the base. We chatted the whole time and her and Elvira made me feel so comfortable. The final outcome was amazing and totally worth the price. I paid only a little bit less in astoria for half highlights and a blow out. With Anita the blow out is included. I have most definitely found my perfect blonde and perfect stylist. I HIGHLY recommend Anita!

Love this place! Felt lucky to have this as my always go to salon — as I lived right down the block. (Have moved out of state) I was a regular client and Anita even did my wedding hair… in 1 hour rather than 1 and ½ hours because I was late — and guess what — my hair was just what I wanted — gorgeous!

Got my hair done by Anita. Not only is she very nice and sweet but she did an amazing job at getting the brassiness out of my hair and gave it beautiful blonde highlights. I am extremely satisfied with the results! Compared to other salons it’s affordable and the quality is great as well. I highly recommend Beauty Design and Anita!

Really great salon that is EXCELLENT at dying blonde at a much more affordable cost then most salons. I changed my review with another salon to 4 stars after coming here.
I am already blonde but wanted to go lighter. I was told by another salon that it would take two processes for me to achieve this: a single process and full highlights. I was told this would cost approximately $ 270.
At Beauty Touch, the whole procedure cost me a $ 175 and I could not be happier with how beautiful the color looks. Anita did my hair and she worked relatively fast (I was done in under 3 hours) and gave a lot of tips on how to keep the color longer. She also told me that the next time I come in it would cost me under $ 125 since the color was where I now want it.
Very highly recommended, I will only be coming here for Anita to do my blonde.

i love this salon. Very clean. I have been getting my long hair blown out straight by Elvira for about a year now. She is excellent! Always does a fantastic, very thorough job. Highly recommend!

I really like this little salon near my apartment for last-​minute blow-​outs or up-​dos. It has a clean and pleasant environment. They always give a great scalp massage and I never feel rushed, also most importantly they never burn me with the blow dryer! I can’t speak to other services but I’ve been here about 10 times and always had a good experience.
They take walk ins but if you can call even an hour in advance it helps. Sometimes they get booked up.

I’ve been going here for the last few years.
The place is clean and all of their stylish are very professional.
Now they accept credits cards it use to be cash only.
Their services prices are very affordable

Never had a wax this good. I’ve had Brazilians other places in Manhattan, and not only is the process less painful, and the lady sweeter (Barbara, what a gem!), but the result is far superior. No in-​growns, none of that crap. Also, very affordable.
I got my hair cut here once, and they did a great job.
They kinda make you wait, even if you have an apt. It’s also way out of my way, but worth the hike.
