Ordered for the first time around 10:30pm and received my order in an hour which is fine and normal. However there was oil everywhere from my sautéed spinach and my beef patty was ridiculously burnt and was cold! I ordered online and they didn’t have an item I ordered and told me I had to order something else because the price was too low by about 4 dollars. I asked for bottles of water instead of the unavailable item until it made the minimum of $ 12. They charged me $ 16 instead and only gave me 2 bottles of water! They had the driver(who is awesome, but wasn’t even a delivery driver and was just doing a favor bringing the food) waiting outside in the freezing cold with me waiting for the people on the phone to understand the situation. Annoying but I might still order again. Everyone has an off day but still, please don’t burn my beef patty.

Ordered from here this past week, and after a lengthy delivery time received not only the wrong pizza but pizza with an almost completely burnt black crust. Our side order of meatballs were watery and soggy. I’ve ordered from here several times, including when it was formally called Mancini’s, and it’s honestly gotten progressively worst with each order. Won’t order from here again unfortunately.

Never eaten inside the joint, but I did get delivery, once. Dear lord, it was quite the food experience. It had been a particularly rough day and all I wanted to do was veg out in front of the tv and eat slice after slice of pizza. However, I also wanted to fulfill my chocolate craving. I really only had one choice, to get the pizza nutella. It took a decent chunk of time to get to me, 50 minutes or so I’d say. But goodness, when that pie finally arrived I couldn’t believe it. It’s a GIANT pie that comes topped with powdered sugar, marshmallows, blueberries, and strawberries. They were a bit haphazardly thrown on though, definitely didn’t have even distribution. Although the flavors were delicious, as expected, the pizza dough itself was very chewy and hard. I didn’t like it that much, actually made my jaw ache. I managed to finish ¾ of the pizza in one sitting, the last two slices were saved for the next day. I can’t give them more than 3 stars since I’ve never eaten inside the establishment, but I would recommend Mancini’s. I just hope all of their pizza’s don’t have that exhausting texture.

Just got my first pizza pie here(margarita) and I can say it’s reeeally good. The dough is crunchy and reasonably thin. A lot of cheese topped with tomatoe souce and fresh basil. Very good! Will come again soon!

Placed an order and chose delivery. Called 2 minutes later to change it to pick up. Drove over there and get a phone call from the delivery guy saying he’s outside my house and then has the nerve to get an attitude with me when I tell him I told them it would be a pick up order. I call the restaurant and some doofy girl picks up I tell her I called previously and told them I was picking up the order and she has nothing to say, no apology, no nothing. I get back to my house and the delivery guy gives me the food, no apology, no nothing. Not the way to run a business!!! Very disappointed wouldn’t order from here again!!! This was absolutely ridiculous

Honestly, all the food here is FANTASTIC. But that’s not why i’m writing this. If you want food from here, make sure you either dine in or pick it up yourself. If you get delivery, be prepared to wait ATLEAST an hour. I’ve ordered from here several times, and each time i’ve waited over an hour, despite living only a few blocks away, without any explanation whatsoever. If you need pizza delivered, look elsewhere.

Several months ago i was passing thru Bay Ridge and decided to stop for pizza at Mancini’s. What a great slice of pizza(wood-oven pizza is so good!). So I returned that same week and tried the buffalo chicken slice– Definitely the best Buffalo Chicken Pizza i have ever had, and I know pizza. Went for a house salad with grilled chicken– perfect, big portion, and a great olive oil/lemon dressing. The vegetable slice was right on the money, and the chicken parm was cooked perfect, with fresh mozz, and al dente pasta. Their Nutella Slice was crazy like a dessert pizza. Great Food, Great Service, Very Clean Establishment! Highly recommend Mancini’s!!!

No, no, no. With the incredible Pizza Wagon – an authentic pizzeria, just steps away – why would you go here? Well, inclement weather perhaps. I slipped in here a couple recent occasions simply because it was a howling gale, a blizzard. And I sampled their wares. Would never have even considered it, under any other circumstances. I’ve walked past the glass doors and faux brickwork of this spiffy joint countless, countless times. Never deliberately contemplated a visit. Its just not Bay Ridge. Its inauthentic. Some kind of a franchise or a chain. Its like a thousand such faceless places you find in Manhattan. Serving ‘tourist style’ pizza. That’s the issue. All that usual tourist nonsense of ‘buffalo chicken + ricotta stuffed pizza’, ‘caesar-salad pizza’,‘vegetarian-delight-double-stuffed eggplant primavera alla vodka pizza’,($ 6 a slice). The pizza is for people who are afraid of pizza. Its cafeteria pizza. Clean. Neat. Prim. Proper. Little spirals and designs. Automated. Soulless. Formulaic. Pizza with no real taste, no personality, no charisma. Pizza made by computer. The décor of Mancini’s is like that of a hotel lobby, and bespeaks of some kind of franchise arrangement. No mom/pop store would ever be able to afford these furnishings. They are too lush, too corporate. Everything is new, curvy, polished, crisp. Lacquered. Un-worn. Everything looks like a marketing photograph and smells like a dentist’s office. I’m sure the folks here mean well, they are attentive and diligent and service is zippy and they all seem very nice. Honest. But its all so… without-heart. Without humor. A factory operation. Like McDonald’s and their ’15 minute no-loitering limit unless you’re eating’. A real pizza joint has greasy guys dropping expletives, making beaver jokes, talking about ass, wearing loud sweatshirts, crumbs everywhere, stains, litter. Odors. Homey. Sweaty. Grill rattling. Fan roaring. Phone ringing. You’d never come to Mancini’s to be that comfortable. You come here to eat pizza which is exactly the same every time you visit. I don’t know whats up with the exuberant reviews left by other Unilocalers. Very strange, hmmm. do they actually live in this neighborhood?

Really good pizza! Reminds me a lot of Grimaldi’s. We got a pie with half sausage and ricotta and half soppresatta. Both halves were great. Will definitely be back!

Best Pizza in Bay Ridge!!! All their pies are amazing… my favorite is the whole wheat slice with the crushed tomato and fresh mozzarella… the slice is HUGE(like 2 slices)…so delicious! I’ve also had the regular pie, the tomato/brocolli pie and white pie. All delish! Highly Highly recommend!

Recently, I visited Mancini’s Pizza which my girlfriend who lives in Bay Ridge and had been raving about this place. I am the type that doesn’t get overly excited about any restaurant since I waited tables and have eaten in so many that food doesn’t phase me any longer. Oh how was I so wrong! When we walked in, there was nothing spectacular. It looks like a typical pizza shop. We got the Grandma Pizza with Sausage and Pepperoni. I thought that it was simply delicious! The crust was good. Chad made the pie and he did a great job. You could taste a hint of sprinkled parmasean cheese under the ingredients. The fresh basil was good. I read that someone said the sauce and cheese were salty? No so at all. Mancini’s does it right with their pizzas. Service was great also. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and attentive. No attitudes or laziness. Chad was hilarious about bragging how he made the best pizzas and he even called his kid son and put him on video on his phone and asked,“who makes the best pizzas”? I thought that was cute. So if you get a chance, go in and say hi to the staff and order a slice/pie. I think that its well worth it.

Now this is a New York City pizza pie! I was beginning to believe that the best NYC pies are only found at trendy, gourmet pizzerias, and for a pretty penny. Hurricane Sandy sent me to find refuge in Brooklyn, which brings me to Mancini’s. Totally casual, old-fashioned pizzeria with a huge menu and super affordable prices. Margherita on whole wheat crust — that does it for me. Oh my goodness. The crust is thin, tasty and baked perfectly without becoming soggy. I love cheese, and the cheese-to-dough ratio is just right. The menu is long, packed with pie toppings, as well as appetizers, entrees, sides, but I am still speechless over their phenomenal pies, which I can’t seem to pass up. Delivery is available too. Call them directly.

There’s pizza, good pizza, New York pizza, and neighborhood pizza. Manicini’s is neighborhood pizza. The one you rely on when you’re starving when you get off of work, when you want a cheap lunch, and when you want delivery. We, luckily, live across the street and while being lazy and having a pizza delivered when you live just a few steps away sounds so luxurious, we think it’s wrong. We go in, order, and take it back home. Sometimes we eat at Mancini’s and it’s comfortable. They have a tiny tv and the tables are clean. My first experience with Mancini’s was a broccoli slice. I hate to say it, but it wasn’t very good. The pizza was watery from the vegetables and there wasn’t much taste. Since then I’ve stuck to pepperoni and their specialty pies. Much better. I recommend the Pizza Mancini. How can you really go wrong with the pizza namesake? It’s got pomodoro sauce, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto crudo, arugula, and shaved parmigiana. Mancini’s skimps a little on the arugula and the pizza tends to be a little salty but the next day the pizza tastes three times better. I often dream about this pizza. It’s pretty good and there’s nothing more lovely than staring at a big pizza pie when you open the pizza box. I’ve recently branched out to their heros and I must say, pretty decent. Subway is across the street but Mancini’s sandwiches have that homemade taste. It doesn’t taste like it’s been assembled in a factory line. For cold hero, I’ve had the roast beef and for hot, I’ve had the chicken parmigiana. For $ 8 that chicken parm sandwich is a steal. I’ll be back soon. Mancini’s has been my go-to lately for«on the go» meals. Hey it’s Summertime. I need picnic type food.

My worst nightmare would be to star in a reality TV show. Luckily, I am not an heiress, a housewife, or an overly tanned bad decision maker, so my life has avoided the small screen. However… I would sell my privacy, dignity, and vigilantly maintained pallor to be featured on BROOKLYN11223 so that I could live in Bay Ridge and eat vodka slices from Mancini’s every day of my life.

I hadn’t eaten a thing all day. Desperate, any old pizza place would do. Night had fallen, and the street lamps weren’t working. At first it seemed like just another pizza place. But it wasn’t…believe me, it wasn’t. I had veered off the main route, 86th street, in near-panic, with a hunger I can only describe as ravenous. The area was desolate, isolated from the main row of closed-for-the-evening eateries near by. Something extraordinary was about to happen in Bay Ridge… to my taste buds, that is. For starters, the grilled chicken in the chicken salad actually tasted grilled! It was lightly seared on the outside, tender inside. The greens and veggies underneath were fresh and tasty, with just the right mix of house dressing. The accompanying slice of ziti pizza was thick with tomato paste, the ziti soft, resulting in a mushy mouthful of delight. Old-fashioned luncheonette-type booths lined one side of the place. A long counter lined the other. A salad and a slice is my mainstay. But, wow, check out that menu! And, they cater.
