This place is a must for any fisherman. They have everything a fisherman need, and they also make your fishing license free of charge.
They helped me decide what ride to choose, and they helped by telling me what kind of fish I am more likely to find at this time if the year.
I am not a professional, so I was overwhelmed by the amount of fishing tools you can find here. So I am sure that even the professionals will find what they need here.

Service could be better, Bernies has an excellent selection and prices do range from economical to expensive. The bait could also be fresher for the price.

They have what you need for fishing in the NY area. The workers are knowledgable and very helpful. I had a rod repaired, and after getting home i was not satisfied after inpecting it more closely. I brought it back and they redid the work to my satisfaction. Had it back the next day. I’m a happy customer.

People love them for some reason but then again people love dicks.
Would never go there even though I’ve heard amazing things I was very disappointed to see firsthand in person how they were.
Was expecting to go in get some stuff done buy a rod and equipment and get some bait but definitely what happened. Overall piece of shits

5 stars means as good as it gets, and it really is as good as it gets for NY, NJ, etc.
Sure there are better stores around but you’re going to need to head to Cape May or Montauk to find them.
This place has so many rods and reels, Lamiglass, Van Staal, Accurates, etc. and down to the price point reels as well.
Bait and tackle at its finest around. Wish I found this place sooner.
