Simple and brightly lit space with well curated edibles and slate cheese plates and coasters. I wish I could spend a day here hanging out with the company dog, so welcoming and lovely. I have one of their cheese trays, purchased through Williams Sonoma and it was a treat to see their company store while on the way to Baked NYC.

Brooklyn Slate Co. sources, sells, and delivers beautiful pieces of slate that are perfect for serving cheese, sushi, tacos, and other morsels. Their pieces also make for great gifts: they’re affordable, have loads of personality, and come in lovely packaging.
Also of note is their remarkable customer service. I was given a piece as a gift that I wanted to exchange (I preferred a different cut and color). I emailed them, heard back within 20 minutes, and had a UPS return label 2 minutes after that, all at 10:15pm. Awesome!
