Brooklyn Vaper

I walked into Brooklyn Vaper today in search of answers to some questions I had being a newbie to vaping. I was greeted by a gentleman named Kareem who was extremely knowledgeable about the vaping hardware differences and had a great deal of patience with allowing me to sample countless types of Vapor Juice ! I left this place with much needed info, new great tasting Juice and a buddy in Kareem. Happy Vaping Folks

Came here as a newbie to vaping and so glad I did! The staff was super friendly and knowledgable. They set me up with my first E-​leaf unit and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely stopping thru the next time I’m in the neighborhood.

This place is super chill. The owner is always around and willing to chat about anything. This is what makes this place one of a kind, it’s not some chain where the owner is never around. They also have a really good inventory and are well priced. It’s at the end of Brooklyn away from all the trendy overpriced stuff. Really cool Vape niche. Cool staff and great prices.

Over priced, only reason I go here is cause of that cool kid Michael, & as a last resort, Beyond Vape is on Grand a few blocks away but was closed… They jack the prices up cause of all these damn hipsters

Awesome shop, great staff. Must go for all your vapor needs! Honestly, a great place to go to hang out, learn about new products. The owner is awesome and super knowledgeable.

We are not from NY and wanted to enter the world of vaping after a friend recommended it above smoking. We happened to walk by «Beyond Vape» first and when we tried walking in the store we found that the door was locked. The store was packed and when one of the sales persons saw us at the door she simply shook her head no, and went back to her customer. We felt very disturbed by this brief interaction, and the fact that it was below freezing didn’t make it any better.
We checked our phones and found that Brooklyn Vaper was just a short walk away. We could not be more happy that we found Ilona. She let us try several flavors, recommended a device for us, and explained to us how to operate our new rig. We were also lucky enough to be present when some very kind representatives from Vapeband stopped by and gave us several samples of their product. Thank you so much Ilona for being so kind and helpful! I haven’t smoked a cigarette since the night we met you and couldn’t be happier about it!

I first came into this shop about 2 months ago thinking that vaping was too taboo and not having an urge to quit. Kareem, a super friendly staff member, told me about the product, let me try a bunch of different flavors and give me some knowledge about this whole new vaping world. Since the moment I walked in there, I never knew that a month later I would have gone from about 2 packs a day to either just a few cigarettes to none a day. I bought my first vape with a impulsive who cares attitude to now being almost cigarette free with my sense of smell back and the lack of cigarette smell overpowering my home. I’m super happy that I stumbled upon this place. Without the help of all the staff and Ilona I would still be a pack a day guy.
As for other reviews about being too pricey. Really? I’d pay triple the amount just for the fact that I don’t smell like an ashtray anymore. Thanks guys for everything. I’ll take my twice weekly 30 minute drive to see ya with a smile.

Talked to Jon for 40 minutes today. Great guy. Really enthusiastic and knew his stuff. He was more than happy to let me try 10+ flavors and explain anything and everything I asked about. It’s stores and people like this that make my day.

Let’s just put it this way:
This was the first (and only) business transaction I’ve had which ended in a hug (Thanks Ilona!)
In a string of unfortunate events, I was in somewhat of a pinch for a new tank; I called BV’s number 15 mins before opening, well aware that no one would most likely pick up. Ilona picks up on the second ring, I tell her what’s up, and she tells me «I’m 10 minutes away, come by whenever.»
Once there (it’s a bit tricky to find, they are located in the NW corner of a building containing dozens of vendors) Ilona was beyond friendly and helpful, and as we worked together to get me dialed back in, we just got friendlier and friendlier.
It was definitely the most genuine, no judgement, no frills vape shop experience I’ve ever had. She’s got some great liquids on hand (Opus Elixer, Space Jam, et all plus their own house liquids) and everything available to sample. For once I didn’t feel guilty for trying bc Ilona ensures you don’t feel like an imposition, it’s a nice change.
All in all, the place is run by a very friendly and knowledgeable young lady, and I’m very much looking forward to seeing their bigger, more «official» space in Bushwick. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend, will be back soon! Thanks Ilona!

If there’s one thing I can’t get enough of its cool people like me riding around in scooters or walking extra slow on the sidewalk while sucking on a tiny robot flute penis and exhaling cartoonishly long rips instead of smoking a gross, stupid cigarette.
Vaping is here to stay and I’d like to be it’s Andy Warhol or Don Cheadle. This place has all the coolest flavors of vape, even vaguely marijuana-​ish ones because I don’t know where I can buy the real stuff and I saw a movie about Carrie Fisher once that’s scared me away from rolling my own doobs tbh.
Anyway, I want to wear a sick vest and chino combo (lol normcore) and host a kind of talkback parlor/​art show about vaping, vape culture, and how it’s pretty much the future in the present. Topics will include how it’s way cooler than hookah, which is for dorks and foreigners, and how blowing a pocket sized android castration is only way to toke from now on in the 2000s.

While out and about my Henley eGo twist style battery broke and this was the closest vape shop available. The guy who helped me out was friendly enough and the selection was adequate but the prices are way, WAY too high. Inexcusably high.
The replacement battery I got was a 900MAH Vision Spinner which has not a month later begun to give me issues while charging. I eventually decided to just get yet another battery to replace the one purchased at Brooklyn Vaper and much to my surprise was able to purchase a similar battery with twice the life for a QUARTER as much. A FULL QUARTER less and I am not exaggerating.
If you value your money, find another vape shop in Brooklyn. If you’re desperate then Brooklyn Vaper will provide but expect to be gouged to within an inch of your life.
Edit: I would like to clarify my issue is not with the performance of the battery but with the price. I was able to buy a 1300MAH Vision Spinner from another Brooklyn vape shop for a quarter of the price I paid at Brooklyn Vaper. I appreciate the offer to look at the now defunct battery I got from Brooklyn Vaper but unless you can adjust the price I paid and refund money it does not solve my issue. I can understand a bit of a mark up, perhaps because of your location but the huge difference in price for a better model from another brick and mortar location is baffling.

Awesome place. Cool ambience and set up. Great customer service is provided and you get to try out devices and flavors of your interest. I will be coming back for more products very soon.

Having been to the other shop yesterday, I thought I would check this one out as I was in the area. Again blown away by the guy, happy helpful knowledgable.
Went in not wanting to buy anything and came out with a B.R.V chesty’s punch and a aerotank mega!
Loving both right now.

Brooklyn Vaper is the best around! The owner Ilona is amazing and very knowledgable as is the rest of her staff! I’m new to the vape scene (to keep from starting to smoke again) and I have dealt with almost everyone there and do not have a bad thing to say! Once again if your a vaper or considering it to help quit or stay of the cigs I highly recommend the Brooklyn Vaper

I had many questions which they answered politely. If your looking for vape mods or kits then Brooklyn Vaper is the place to go. The flavor selection will blow you away. Check them out. When you check in on Foursquare you get a awesome discount!

The highest quality of customer service an satisfaction. Ilona is a gem. Reliable. Fun to talk to while you figure out what it is you need. Knowledgable. She helped navigate me through different mod’s as I searched for the perfect backup to my Mini Provari as I send it in for repair. While I shopped, she gave me lessons on how to use different tanks, and showed me how to properly fill and use the one I purchased. Selection — tons.
I typically order my products online, as there has not an actual store to go to here in New York that caters to e cigarette smokers. I did a lot of research before switching over two years ago, and I would never waste my money trying to buy a vaporizer form a smoke shop. Brooklyn Vaper is water in the desert. :)
After purchasing a backup vaporizer, that also included a one year warranty, and matched pretty well to the level quality I get out of my Provari for half the price, @ Brooklyn Vaper — something went really wrong. The next morning I went to use my new vaporizer and nothing happened. No light, no smoke, nothing.
I wrote an Ilona an email and the next day she called to tell me it must be a product malfunction, the product is reliable and great — she apologized profusely and offered to personally deliver me a new one to wherever I was in the city that weekend.
I did receive a new one. She also threw in a free bottle of my favorite juice and two extra cartomizers.
I really love her. Love this place. Loved talking to her when I have gone in.

Anyways, since, I have been to several vapor shops in NYC since I ran out of the Austin-​made «American Tobacco» liquid. (fog machine shit? e-​juice? that’s a lame name)
I remember seeing the Henley vaporium before I had an e-​Cig, but my experience there was bad to spotty at best (bad customer service, felt like a shitty fogged up manhattan bar inside). Also went to a random smoke shop, also no dice.
ENTER BROOKLYN VAPOR LOUNGE
I walked in the cold today to get here (I’m getting on a plane tomorrow. Thank you dispensible nicotine.) It was a little hard to find in the glass cubicle maze of this particular Kent Ave mini-​mall (it’s towards the river) but I eventually found it after wandering past nail salons and botiques etc and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED.
The woman, Ilona, who runs the place was freakin’ great and knowledgable and she had all the good shit in 24mg of nicotine! (what!) Except for Banana Nut (in 18), which I am enjoying right now. Also she has a cute Dachsund named Bacon who has a pillow fluffing fetish.
