Nice atmosphere. Delicious food and drinks. Happy hour prices are so perfect. The wings and fries are a must.

Only giving this place 2 stars because the bartender was really friendly, professional and engaging. None of what I’m about to say is a reflection on her performance as a professional. Lets talk about the broken AC. Before coming there I was reading their reviews and one review spoke about a broken AC which was a week ago. I assumed the owners fixed the problem since we are having a huge heat wave and if they care about their establishment and the people who pay to be there, they’d have it fixed. Wrong. I went in and it was still broken, fans everywhere. I’m not one to complain but what about that review a week ago? Why didn’t the owners fix this problem? Sadly the bartender confessed that the AC has been broken for over 2 weeks. OVER2WEEKS!!! How do you do that to your employees much less make it enticing for people off the street? But then I realized, this place is cheap. I’m not talking about their happy hour which is actually really good, I think it’s like $ 3 or $ 4 for draft beers till 8 or 9PM. I’m talking about the décor, it’s all cheap wood and material. The owners don’t care about this establishment at all and it clearly shows by the lack of money they put into the place. According to the bartender they are more concerned with their new bar a few blocks away, I forget the name. I stayed for 2 drinks because I felt bad, another couple came in and left without finishing up their drinks. 2 girls walked into the door and saw all the fans and gave a quick look around and walked back. The place was completely empty the whole time I was there except for the couple who stayed for 10 minutes. Would I come back? No. I don’t like owners who don’t care. If they don’t why should I? Their place is super cheesy, looks like some really bad fort a few kids slapped together with their cheesy purple walls cheap wooden tables and chairs. Purple? Everything about this place screams discounted. The only thing they have going for them is the bartender.

This place gets 3 stars because the bartender was so nice. 1) It was swamp hot… they AC was broken… if you wanted me to remind me of NOLA… you sure did… it was swamp hot. 2) The tap needs to be cleaned, my beer tasted bad… I took several sips and thought it was me until my BF confirmed… it was the tap. If they clean the tap and have working AC… would go back just for the bartender who was super sweet.

This place used to be a hangout spot for my friends way back when it was Lucky 13. A friend of mine threw her pre wedding party here. Atmosphere: New Orleans Chic. Purple walls, dim lighting, boudoir furniture. Very cute. Outside the party, there wasn’t much in the way of patronage. Service: Quite friendly. The bartender was a complete sweetheart, and we had a lovely convo. Drinks: Good, but a little pricey. And a major downer is that the place is cash only, ergo the three star rating. I’d probably come back if I was in the area.

This place is awesome! The décor, the vibe, the drinks, and the fireplace!!! My friend celebrated her birthday in this New Orleans styled haunt and Lila was the most sweetest, friendliest, bad ass bartender. She knows her stuff, guys! I drank beer all night, but all of my friends were trying their special absinthe drinks. They were not disappointed. It looks so much different than when it was Lucky 13(but, same owners!). No more pole, no more posters, no more heavy metal music. It’s a more relaxed, lay low environment. I felt like I was in Alice in Wonderland for a second… had to catch myself! Thanks, Lila! We had a great time.
