History

Established in 1991.

Victoria honed her skills while working as the bookkeeper for a small natural foods company and later as an account manager at a midtown accounting firm specializing in the music industry. She started her Manhattan practice in 1991. Two years later she set up shop in Park Slope, earned her EA* license, and continued to provide quality tax preparation and bookkeeping services for individuals and small businesses.

Park Slope accountant Victoria Brush has a keen interest in helping people. She understands that dealing with taxes and financial matters can be a bit intimidating and that the end result of her work impacts people’s lives. Victoria believes that clients aren’t just numbers, she enjoys getting to know them and goes the extra mile to explain what’s happening with their financial situations, to help them understand relevant tax rules, and if they owe money to the government, why.

Knowledgeable, experienced and personable, with a high level of integrity, Victoria has an organized approach to looking at and analyzing numbers. She thinks of tax returns as puzzles and enjoys putting the pieces together. Although tax laws can be quirky and sometimes unfair, Victoria’s breadth of knowledge helps her determine how to use them to your best advantage.
