Writing this review after being in office, attending procedure for my guy.
Dr. G. has a great bedside manner, is very transparent, staff is incredibly helpful, and nothing is too much trouble.

I don’t often write reviews but this place is so good that I think the cosmos should know. I hate going to the dentist, but I actually *almost* enjoyed getting my fillings today. The dentist made sure I was totally comfortable, consulted me very thoughtfully about pain management and was flexible with my schedule. Perhaps it was the laughing gas, but I don’t even mind going tomorrow to get more fillings. The facilities are incredibly clean, all of the staff are so friendly and smart. Best dentist I’ve ever been to.

Dr. Gorodinsky and his team made me feel so comfortable. After seeing another dentist the previous day who quickly told me I need a root canal with no explanation, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. G. Immediately, I felt calm as he explained my options and took me step by step. He has fabulous bed side manner, there was no pain involved and the experience was actually enjoyable– something I have NEVER said about going to the dentist. I am so thankful to Dr. G and his team especially Dolly and Cesaire. I can not recommend them enough!

Dr. Gorodinsky is a fantastic Dentist who somehow manages to strike the perfect balance between interpersonal warmth and calm professionalism. He is an incredibly open, passionate, and friendly individual who’s demeanor can calm even the most anxious of patients. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and there’s a palpable sense of warmth and. I recently had a root canal performed by Dr. G., and believe it or not the experience wasn’t just painless, it was downright enjoyable. I feel truly lucky to have found such a great Dentist in NYC.
The only negative thing I (or anyone) could say about Carroll Gardens Dental Arts is that it’s too bad Dr. G. doesn’t practice every single type of medicine, because after coming here you’ll wish he was taking care of your whole body instead of just your teeth.

I had been putting off going to the dentist for 6 or more years b/​c of dental fear/​phobia. Dr. Gorodinsky was patient, kind, and provided me a PAIN FREE dental experience, including explaining to me in detail what I did and did not need (cosmetic vs necessary tx). He is certainly not in the business of trying to «sell» you treatments that aren’t necessary. This was the best experiences at a dentist I have ever had, and truly «cured» me of my dental phobia (I could even say it was pleasant experience).
I will be now going back every six months for my routine check ups, without fear! Grateful to have found him, and his wonderful staff.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. G and his staff! The first time I went to see him, I ended up having two cavities (my first two ever!). Since I had never had a cavity filled before, I was very nervous. Dr. G was very gentle and explained the entire process every step of the way so that I felt completely comfortable. The whole thing ended up being very painless and I haven’t had any issues since.
Based on my first experience, I have been back to Dr. G a few times for routine checkups/​cleanings. He is always so kind and funny and actually makes me look forward to going to the dentist! His staff is terrific too, and when I was switching jobs they took care of everything with both my old and new insurance providers.
It is usually easy to get an appointment with him, even on weekends and he always takes his time to make sure you are comfortable and understand everything he is doing, even if he has a packed schedule. I will definitely be returning to Dr. G and have already recommended him to all my friends in the neighborhood!

One of the best dental experiences I’ve had in years!!! Dr. G and his staff are professional, courteous and caring. If you’re looking for a new dentist, look no further. Carroll Gardens is the place to go.

Had a crown pop loose at the airport on the way to NYC. Too late at that point to do anything about it. CGDA and Dr. G. fitted me in on a fully booked Saturday with no trouble whatsoever.
I am, as they say, ‘nervous’ when it comes to dentists. Dr. G. put me right at ease as did the rest of the staff. I emerged a few mins later with a properly fitted crown and enough restaurant recommendations to last me for the next TWO vacations.
If you can only visit one dentist on the first day of your vacation, make it CGDA!

Dr G is simply The Best.
I’ve never been to a dentist who is so genuinely knowledgable, caring, and honest. Dr G truly looks out for your best interests.
The first time I visited Carroll Gardens Dental Arts, I was panicked that I needed an emergency root canal. The office realized how anxious I was and, although I was a new patient, found time to fit me in that day. Dr G totally put me at ease and determined what diagnostic tests were essential — I was uninsured at the time and he wanted to be sure to completely pinpoint the cause of my pain while not devastating my bank account. My previous dentist regularly billed me outrageous amounts to fill what he called «pre-​cavities» — what a relief to find an honest and knowledgable dentist who can tell me what a load of bs that was!
Most recently, Dr G molded a custom mouthguard for me to alleviate my TMJ pain in record time to accommodate my spotty insurance and crazy travel schedule.
Aside from being incredibly considerate, warm, and intelligent, Dr G truly enjoys what he does, and is always excited to update his office with new, useful technology.
Writing this Unilocal review is my way of saying THANK YOU to such a fantastic dentist!

Let me tell you something. I’ve been to dentists that treat you like you’re some kind of a POW in Saigon. I’ve seen unsanitary offices and medieval equipment. I’ve been to dentists that are running back and forth between 3 or 4 clients at the same time. I’ve also been to dentists that redefine the meaning of sheer pain and lack of compassion.
Now take everything that I’ve just said and completely forget about it when you visit Dr. G! The office is brand new and clean enough to eat off the floor. The staff is always friendly and attentive. You won’t be sitting around watching the paint dry on the wall. I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes to be seen. The equipment being used is state of the art and not a bunch of tools that resemble hardware from the early 1900’s. Everything is modern and everything is there to give each client maximum comfort.
As for Dr. G, he’s the kind of person that takes his work extremely seriously although you probably wouldn’t know that by his relaxed and humorous demeanor. When you’re in that dentist’s chair, Dr. G makes sure that you are 100% at ease and comfortable. Every little step and procedure is slowly and clearly explained so there are no painful surprises or moments of discomfort. In no time at all you will be fully relaxed and in deep banter with Dr. G. Most importantly, Dr. G treats each patient like a human being and not some kind of asset. He will never recommend unnecessary procedures just to make an extra buck off of you. He will treat you with kindness, compassion, and respect while maintaining the utmost highest levels of professionalism.

The search is over! Believe it or not I actually look forward to my dental appointments. Here are the reasons why:
1. Always on time! That in itself speaks volumes. It means he doesn’t double book and is thoughtful about his patients time as well as his own.
2. The office is EXTREMELY clean.
3. The staff is very patient and pleasant
4. The service in itself is performed with ease, which shows he’s well seasoned.
5. He’s exceptionally gentle yet meticulous, while ensuring he’s patients comfort
6. While I’ve received various services. The cleaning in itself is the most detailed I ever received.
7. Plays music that’s upbeat which shows the lightheartedness side of Dr. G. Be careful if its not on he has a tendency to sing.
8. Last but not least hes diligence and compassion for his patients is exceptional. I’ve never felt so well taken care by a dentist.
That about sums it up! Have a great dental visit.

Never thought I’d be writing a review on Unilocal for a dentist, but Dr. G was great! I have been looking for a good trustworthy dentist, and Dr. G was not only honest, gentle, and good at what he does, but he was also kind and funny! Actually a pleasant experience at the dentist! Who knew?!

Best dentist ever!
I just have to say that I´m so glad I found Carroll Garden Dental Arts. I was looking for a place in my neighborhood to do my check outs that I could trust and I am sure I got the best.
The staff is really really nice, and Dr. Gorodinsky is just an excellent doctor and a fantastic person! Very committed, dedicated, and he really knows how to make you feel comfortable.

I recently moved to NY and was nervous about finding a dentist I trusted. Consider this mission accomplished! I had such a lovely visit. The cleaning was thorough and gentle. Dr G was very personable, funny and honest. Not to mention he gave me tips on fun things to do in NY and great places to eat! I left smiling whiter and feeling well cared for. As a medical professional myself, it’s nice to see another provider bringing such heart to the profession. Highly recommend!

Where do I begin? Dr. G is the best dentist in town. From his modern day office to his warm welcoming staff. He is definitely one of the best dentist in New York City. Your visits are never rushed, he’s gentle and make you feel at ease.

Magic Hands! I’ve been to a lot of dentists and the only thing they had in common is that I was afraid to come back. Dr. G is by far the least painful dentist. I recall my first visit to his office, I was sitting in the chair and waiting for the «painful» part to fix my cavity. I asked him «when are we starting», he told me «we are already done «. In addition to being carrying and professional he is extremely diligent in his work. To top it off, my personal favorite part that I look forward to are the Dentist Jokes he cracks… its like visiting a dental spa and with a splash of stand up comedy, great experience!!! Once you try, you’ll never visit another dentist ever again!!!

I was referred to this practice by a couple friends when I moved to the area. It has been a long time since I have actually been happy with a dentist that I was using. As a fellow medical professional, I appreciated Dr Gorodinsky’s attentiveness and gentle touch during my exam. The office itself was comfortable and the staff seemed to work well together. I feel much better knowing that I have a good dentist close by now. I have since sent a couple friends to his office and would recommend him.

Dr. Gorodinsky is very professional and it was the least painfull dental visit i ever had, I highly recommend him. He does a great job!!!

I have found my dentist right in my very own neighborhood. No more trips into midtown to see any old dentist that spends only 5 minutes with you. I can not say enough great things about this place. First off, the office feels like a home. Then you are greeted by Joanna the receptionist who is very welcoming and sweet. Then Dr. G… The most passionate dentist I have ever met who truly treats his work as an art! I was amazed at the fact that he actually does your teeth cleaning so he knows exactly what is going on with your teeth. Not only is he thorough he actually cares. My husband and I are never going to any other dentist again no matter how far we move from this neighborhood!
