Description

Specialties

I attend you personally at Doc Onomical or Brooklyn Heights Family Practice. Many of my patients have told me that a relationship with a doctor is exactly what they’re looking for. That is why I do not use mid-level providers – Nurse Practitioners or Physician’s Assistants – to «speed» things along. My Team Doc O staffers help me lever my expertise – not get between the patient and me. Should demand for Doc O’s services grow large enough, I intend to bring other highly qualified family physicians into the Doc Onomical practice.

Our U.S. healthcare system is in desperate need of new ideas, modes and models – especially for those under– or unserved by our private health insurance system. As Doc O, I’m targeting the uninsured. These are the folks I believe will benefit most from my Doc Onomical practice. This is a chance for people who have despaired of ever enjoying Primary Healthcare. Now, they won’t need health insurance to afford Primary Care – at least in my corner of America today.

History

Established in 2000.

I began delivering healthcare to Brooklyn Heights and surrounding communities in 1994 when I joined Long Island College Hospital (LICH) as the Director of Post-Graduate Family Medicine Training. For six years I helped other family physicians perfect their family practice skills.

In 2000 I left LICH and opened Brooklyn Heights Family Practice to provide the highest quality Family Medicine services directly to the community. My staff and I provide the health care traditionally offered by Family Doctors (except for prenatal and obstetrical care and pediatrics).
