Established in 2014.

The CAYBC was founded by Bob Doto a yoga instructor and massage therapist bringing almost two decades of inquiry and practice in body-​centered yogic and meditation disciplines.

Bob Doto is a licensed yoga teacher and massage therapist. A practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga under the guidance of Eddie Stern, Bob also practices an integrated form of deep tissue massage along with Chinese tuina bodywork.

Have both practiced yoga and experienced a massage at this studio and all I can say is «wow.» Bob the owner is a very talented teacher and gave me lots of personal attention to work through an injury including lots of variations that were incredibly helpful. His knowledge of anatomy was also evident during the massage I received and it didn’t hurt that the space was very airy and clean and the prices were very reasonable compared to other studios.
I would suggest stopping by and at least trying the new student special if you are interested in starting or picking up a regular practice. if you live in South Brooklyn this studio is also super easy to get to, just a few minutes from the G stop. I’m looking forward to attending some events at this space and seeing what else they have to offer as this seems like a very cool and up-​and-​coming area.

Went in for a massage yesterday as I was experiencing lower back pain and tension in my shoulders due to stress and sitting at a computer — Bob worked wonders! He listened to what I had to say, taught me things about various muscles I didn’t know I had, and gave instructions for simple stretches I can do at home. I left feeling fluid, mobile, and more knowledgable about my body — would highly recommend!

Came upon this lovely studio while googling yoga places within walking distance.
I purchased their new student special which is unlimited yoga for a week and is $ 30. A good deal to try out their classes and teachers.
I’ve taken classes with a majority of the teachers, including the owner Bob, and have really enjoyed every class. The teachers are friendly, knowledgeable and give nice adjustments. I also appreciate that they ask about your practice and if you have any injuries.
The classes are steeped within the vinyasa/​ashtanga tradition, which I really enjoy.
Will definitely be back.
**Note: if you are not familiar with the neighborhood the studio might be a little hard to find as it is tucked on the side of the block. This was my first time in the area and it took me about 5 minutes to find the place.

I am so pleased that this studio opened so close to my house. I attended the opening and I loved the no-​nonsense low-​key vibe. I took a smart, challenging, and fun Sunday morning yoga class, which was a great way to start the day. The room is light and airy… and I got to peak into the bodywork treatment rooms which looked great.
Excited for more.

I’m loving this wonderful studio in the neighborhood. Each teacher I’ve taken class with has been excellent and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is simple and bright and the classes are well structured. Eleana’s asthanga classes are awesome.
