If you are my Chinese don’t go there, better go to chase right across the street. I walked in there to open a account was told to have a seat. I was sitting for 30 mins then all of a sudden I realized that people after me were being helped. I got up to ask for the status of my wait. I was told to keep waiting. Then I was approached by an lady who hardly spoke any English. Then I decided to ask for a manager, because before I open a account I wanted to make sure that I don’t have this problem again, manager told me that other clients are important and I was new so I had to wait. I decided to Walk over to chase right across the street was done in 20 mins.

I needed a madallian signature. I have an Ira cd with this bank and called to make arrangements. Spoke to this gastapo woman at the 18th ave branch who thought she was the commander of the bank. She told me that I need a checking or savings account in order to get a medallion signature and that my Ira cd is not suffient for this service. I told her «OK, I’ll open a checking account». She said «I will not allow you to get a medallion signature by opening a checking account». This woman is on some real sick power trip or she’s just a rued old lady who thinks she owns a bank.

This is my local bank. They don’t have poor security and ridiculously high minimals like Chase, and don’t charge you $ 25 just to open an account like Independent/​Sovereign/​whatever.
Teller lines move quickly, ATM lines don’t. People like the ATMs more I suppose. They do have more personality than the actual tellers.
One of the tellers looks sorta like Matthew Fox. I wanted to ask him his theories on Lost, but given how none of the tellers seem to talk much, I asked a customer service rep instead. He thinks that when the plane crashed onto the island, it knocked Jack into mental retardation and all the events regarding polar bears and Dharma are just happening is his head. I thought that theory was stupid, so I never talked to him again.
