John was incredibly helpful & offered great advice when I walked in with a clear idea as to what I wanted. I was so happy to be treated respectfully & professionally. I left with all my tiles & supplies. Can’t wait for my contractor to get started. The prices were fair and definitely worth the trip from Long Island. I highly recommend them!

Classic Tile in Bayridge is the best tile store in Brooklyn! I did a total reno of my 2 bedroom/​2bath apt and bought all of my tiling and flooring tiles from them last year. Now that my mom is renovating her kitchen, I’m back at Classic. John was and still is especially helpful and very knowledgeable as well as other staff members. Also Lou has been wonderful. I’m a persistent negotiator and always left the store fully satisfied. They have lots of patience… I encourage everyone to support local businesses. I do not get this kind of service at any of the large retailers and Classic has higher quality products, esp. marble.

Classic Tile has an amazing selection and their prices are much lower than all of the other tile places that I researched.
Victor at Classic Tile is absolutely wonderful!
He went *above and beyond* to help me with the entire process of selecting and ordering tile that I needed for my bathroom. He is extremely patient and professional and made the whole process a wonderful experience.

They are dishonest. I paid them for tile and asked them to hold it for a month until we could pick. They sold the tile to someone else and then could not get anymore. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

I fully recommend Classic Tile. I went to every tile store in the five boroughs and NJ and John provided the best customer service. He went completely out of his way to make sure I got the tile I wanted, even if he did not stock it. He contacted another distributor and ordered it from them to sell to me. Even by doing that, the price was essentially the same if I had went to that distributor directly. I called him many times over a course of 2 weeks asking him for tiles he did not stock and he was always happy to help source them for me. The showroom has a lot of samples and is one of the bigger and more organized showrooms I visited.

From beginning to end we had a great experience with Classic Tile. When we first came in, John was professional and thorough — he spent a good half hour explaining several lines of marble tile that we were interested in. The prices were quite reasonable compared to the tile places in the Flatiron area. The order and delivery were smooth. When we had a concern with some of the tile having crystal deposits, Lou took great care of us. He arranged for us to receive an additional shipment to make sure we had enough tile with just the right look. I think it means a lot when a business demonstrates that they can handle a problem well. Not that I plan on redoing my bathroom again any time soon, but if I did — I would definitely use Classic Tile again.

Been to a couple of tile stores in flushing and in the brooklyn area. I believe Classic tiles is by far the best in terms of selection and service. Their showroom have a few sample bathroom showing how the tiles would looked and some are on display matched with an accent of mosiac already which i really liked. Helped give me ideas of what would look good together.
We found a wall tile that we liked for our bathroom but we were not sure if it would work if we used those tile for the whole wall. John was happily to help and answer our questions. He even gave us suggestion on what other accent tiles that would go along with it because we didn’t really like the one he had matched together on the display.
In the end I made my purchase of the tiles here. Service was great and prices were reasonable. They even helped load the tile in the trunk of my car.

Very nice selection & fantastic super helpful service! Found exactly what we wanted for our kitchen & returned a few months later for the tile for our front entry way. And I’ll go back whenever we get around to updating our bathroom tile!

I don’t write these reviews very often, but I was in a bind, and Lou at Classic Tile was a great help. I hadn’t ordered enough tile, but I don’t have a car to go get more, so I called him and he knew exactly what I had ordered the first time just by looking up my name. Then he helped me figure out how much more I’d need and got it ordered and helped me get it delivered when I need it.

They have a nice showroom and decent selection. Thou not exactly what we were looking for, I did find a great bathroom tile for our new bathroom, and was on sale;).
I would have given 4stars but only 3 they get frm me because our sales lady was not that helpful. It really took looking to find what we wanted, she wasn’t much help other than to write up order. We almost walked out, due to her lazy approach at first.

I’ve been in and out of Classic Tile multiple times over the last 4 months for a bathroom renovation. They have great selection, competitive pricing, gave samples, and were able to answer a lot of questions. Delivery was on time with no charge (to Brooklyn). There were several times when I needed last minute items and got them at the time of my visit, instead of waiting. I had also over-​estimated some items and had to make returns and they were incredibly swift and polite about the process.

I walked into the store with an idea of what I wanted, and the friendly and knowledgeable sales people opened my eyes to other beautiful possibilities. Frankie, in particular, was very attentive without making me feel smothered. He let me take samples of tiles that I like to show my husband. The prices are very competitive, and the selection seems endless. Best of all, the items I wanted were in stock. I will definitely come back and purchase tiles from this store. I only wish that I knew about them when I did my bathroom a few years back.

Adding my voice to the chorus here. Classic Tile is what they’re called and classic tile is what they sell. This is a great go to place if you’re refurbishing a vintage bathroom and you want historically accurate tile at a fair price.
Polite, competent service is why this place has so many five-​star reviews. Really nice salesmen here. Additionally, they deliver to Manhattan. There was a $ 35 charge since I’m uptown, which I consider more than fair. No complaints whatsoever.

I found Classic Tile & Marble Inc. by doing a Google search for the type of tile I wanted. Our local tile shop was unable to get it in time for our deadline. Joe helped me via telephone. He was wonderful! Yes we have it in stock, yes we ship to Ohio, yes you can have it in four business days!!! Then my decorator called to verify it was the correct material and she concurred: the people are so nice! My tile is on the way and I could not be happier. Great job and many thanks to Joe!

We needed tiles for our basement renovation and wanted something good quality and in a certain color. Not only does this place boast a huge selection of high quality, beautiful tiles for all price ranges, they have everything in stock!
Most places charge you for samples, or take a deposit. Not these guys. They just hand you a full sized tile and let you walk away. Free delivery too, at least for those nearby.

Oh yeah — these guys are awesome! Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, but they’re friendly and offer great discounts on the tile. We bought the most beautiful granite tile for much less than anywhere else. They also offered very useful tips on which tiles would work best together in our bathroom. After the job was done, we had a bunch of extra tile left over and they took it back and refunded it with no problem. Who DOES that nowadays?
