I highly recommend Gardiner Chiropractic. Like several reviewers, I went after deciding not just tp live with neck and back pain. My pain is virtually gone. I receive thorough care in a pleasant, accommodating and convenient office.

Dr. Gardiner is a super awesome chiropractor. The perfect mix of personable, relatable and knowledgable, I was blown away by his diagnosis that explained a lot of my chronic pain issues that I thought I just had to live with. Instead, he helped to put me on my way to healing with a very informative alignment session that greatly improved my back issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Gardiner. And, as an added bonus, his office is housed in a cute little brownstone adjacent to Fort Greene Park for an extra-​added peaceful vibe.

Woke up on a Sunday morning with terrible pain and distortion in shoulder blade, and googled for a chiro open anywhere in NYC. Luckily Dr Gardiner was one of the first hits, and he saw me quickly, spent a good long time putting everything back where it belonged, and I walked out of his office greatly improved.
Have gone back for a couple of tune-​ups, and he’s the real deal. Uses a different modality than any chiro I’ve seen in past, (SOT) but hell, it works, whatever it’s called. Nice guy as well, and pleasant staff.

At age 36, I decided not to allow random neck and shoulder pain control my life anymore. I had never been to see a chiropractor and was a little nervous. A friend recommended Dr. Gardiner and I am so glad that our paths crossed.
Dr. Gardiner isn’t just there to pop and click you in the right direction, but they educate you on what they’re doing and how it affects the rest of your body. He took the time to help me discover what the long-​term cause of my pain was, instead of simply treating my symptoms.
I have terrible TMJ and neck pain caused by a misaligned pelvis and a few ribs, which I didn’t even know of until Dr. Gardiner examined me. I felt enlightened after my first adjustment how much better I felt immediately. But please don’t be naïve if you think one adjustment will heal all your pains right away! I have been going 2 times a week for the past month to get to a point where the pain in my neck is almost gone and I can turn my head again from side to side. I know that I am looking at a few more months of work with him. I hope that I will be able to starting running again and hopefully resume Pilates.
I highly recommend this office to anybody who wants to improve overall health and heal your body instead of covering up symptoms by popping pills every couple of hours.

I’ve only been to two chiropractors. One that took xrays and tried to sell me on pillows and whole regimens of treatments and Dr. Gardiner who I can’t say enough about.
I’m a massage therapist and went to see Dr. Gardiner in the spring after a long cold, achey winter of not moving much and just feeling beat up and like an old lady from doing massage.
My first appointment I was half trying to figure it out and much to my surprise Dr. Gardiner palpated and resistant tested every area that had been giving me problems. I giggled at how ridiculous it was that someone ACTUALLY KNEW all these strange aches and pains that were bothering me and that there was an actual reason for it.
It was really was the catalyst of change for me to get out of the «fog» I’d been in. I occasionally go back there when I’m starting to feel crummy.
He’s really laid back, gives very practical and real advice and is very gentle in his approach (often I’ll wait for a bigger cervical mobilization or for him to really dig into my psoas and be like «man, that was nothing!»). I’ll even send my own clients to him who I think will benefit from his treatments.

If there were more than five stars to be given — Dr. Gardiner would get them all. I have been a patient of Dr. G. for many years now. I first sought him out after a very painful chronic back problem that I assumed I’d have to live with forever after seeing numerous back «specialists» for years and years. Wrong! What a marvel he is. He can diagnose a problem before I have a chance to even articulate it.
Now I see him every two weeks just for «maintenance». I exercise vigorously and lead a very active life so I am always doing something that can potentially turn into a problem as my body tries to compensate for my Type A behavior. Of all the positive things I do for myself: nutrition, exercise, medical checkups & screenings etc., seeing Dr. Gardiner is the MOST important of all for my general well-​being. He has made such a tremendous difference in my quality of life.

Was in so much pain and he extended his business hours that day to wait for me. A clean envienvironment and he is so professional. I would recommend him to anyone. I left feeling better and that’s all that matters.

after suffering from severe neck pain i made an appointment to see dr. gardiner. the office is conveniently located in a super cute part of ft. green, right off the F train. (i understand he also practices in DUMBO, if that’s closer to u)…
reception is always timely, friendly and accommodating. having been to several chiropractors my whole life, i feel like dr. gardiner is especially attentive and thorough. adjustments are effective but not aggressive, and affordable. i always feel better leaving his office, and even after he’s seemingly cured a chronic neck pain of mine it’s a pleasure going for follow ups and maintenance. a wonderful chiropractic experience. ps. he’s also really handsome… ;)

Wow. what can I say about Dr. Dan? I hurt my back moving furniture. Took on a little more than I should have. I felt strange, but ignored it. The problem worsened (to say the least). In desperation I posted a cry for advice/​consultation and was luckily referred to Dr. Dan.
I hobbled into his home office where he checked me out and devised a regimen. Weeks later I am walking with limited wobbling (to my amazement mind you). I have about another month of healing, but Dr. Dan has been very professional, helpful, considerate and clear about my diagnosis and what would need to be done to resolve the issue.
At one point in time I have seen a Chiropractor or two and with hesitation/​desperation I took on the services of Dr. Dan. BEST RISK I TOOK THIS YEAR! I strongly recommend his services and following my treatment will continue to utilize his services just to continue to monitor/​recommend the best methods of maintaining.

Dr. Gardiner is the most chill chiropractor you will ever meet. In fact, he’s probably one of the chillest people you will ever meet period. So much so that I frequently found myself checking his eyes for any tell-​tale redness. Yah maaaaan he’s like, soooooo laid back.
But he’s an awesome chiropractor with wonderful technique and great knowledge of the body. He helped me bring my body into balance when visually I could see one shoulder was higher than the other. As it turns out, what was really happening was that one leg was shorter than the other due to some misalignment in my pelvic girdle.
Chiropractic will give you a newfound respect for the body and how intricately connected the whole thing is. A misalignment in your hip can express itself as nerve pain in your arm. Changing the alighnment of your vertebrae can not only alleviate muscle pain or stiffness, but can even have emotional and psychological effects, as you literally bring your nueroskeletal system into balance.
Dr. Gardiner’s practice is small but chiro visits are typically only 15 minutes long (once you get past your consultation and start having adjustments). He accepts many insurances, and co-​pays are typically about $ 15. He recently opened a second practice in midtown at 200 W. 57^th St., Suite 807, 212−581−0101.
