Darr Robert S MD

We love Dr. Darr! He has been my teenage daughter’s doctor since she was a newborn. We have had a few health scares throughout the years and Dr. Darr provided service above and beyond through it all. He knows his patients and shows he cares about them. He is extremely thorough and explains things in detail so that you know what is going on every step of the way. He is extremely knowledgeable and respected by other doctors (a specialist at New York-​Presbyterian recommends him as a top notch pediatrician). His office manager, Susan, is also fantastic… professional, caring and courteous. We will be so sad when my daughter ages out of Dr. Darr’s care. If you are looking for a pediatrician, look no further!

Dr. Darr is an amazing pediatrician. Both of my children have been seeing him since they were born (ages 10 and 7). For starters, there is never a wait. This is unheard of in pediatrics. The thing that stands out to me the most about him though is that he really is a doctor for the family. He gives amazing advice on feeding your newborn, and setting up sleep schedules etc. if you follow his advice, like I did and several of my friends who I recommended to him did, then your children will eat healthy and have a great sleep schedule. It cannot be a coincidence that ALL of our children have the same GREAT eating habits and sleep schedule. And, of course, my children LOVE him. How many children do you know that love visiting the doctor — even for pinches (as Dr. Darr calls them)? And for those of you who are thirsty for knowledge of the inner workings of the body — Dr. Darr has a great way of explaining anything and everything that has to do with your child’s medical issues both in a technical way (for those who love the fancy terms), and in a simpler way (for those who don’t understand medical lingo) — he does both. Dr. Darr is the best out there and I highly recommend him.

I LOVED Dr. Darr !! To bad he is a pediatrician otherwise i would have used the man till the day i die. I remember when my parents used to take me i would be in and out because he knew me well. Never once had a problem with this doctor. Hes serious and funny at the same time. Its also a family run practice.
DR. Darr is a really good doc and may god bless his soul.
