Julia is amazing! We did the 2 hour family photo session at DUMBO and we couldn’t be more happier about how the pictures turned out. Not only is she a talented photographer, she is great at making people be at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. She was very good at grabbing my daughters attention and captured so many different expressions of my 1 year old daughter. I am so glad I found her and look forward to working with her in the future.

Julia’s a must go to for baby photography! She is passionate about her profession and is sweet in person. I brought my 6 month old son to her studio to take pictures and they came out insanely beautiful. My family and friends are asking where did I get my sons photos taken:) because they look exquisite. I adored this experience, and will definitely recommended. Two-​thumbs UP!

We are SO happy to have found Julia! She came to our apartment for a newborn/​family photo session, so everyone (including our 2-​year old) was very relaxed and were able to grab props, etc as needed. She’s calm, patient, and very professional. Her creativity and expertise show through her work, and we are super pleased with the results. Pricing is very reasonable for the NYC area. She’s generous with including tons of photos (200+) and doesn’t try to squeeze extra $ for additional shots or require you to buy expensive prints/​books (although she offers those options). Turnaround time is super quick — she delivers all the beautifully edited photos on a password-​protected user-​friendly website, where you can download them in high resolution (and order prints), and she also sends a memory stick in the mail — all within one week! And she emails a cute «sneak peak» before that! We’ll definitely hire her again, and we recommend her highly.

We couldn’t be happier with our newborn and family photo shoot that Julia did for us. She was very patient (essential with a finicky 8 day old baby!), very creative in her shots, lighting and arranging of our baby, and very professional. She was very prompt in replying to my email questions and inquiries, and the follow up. I highly recommend Julia, and would definitely use her services again

We recently hired Julia to photograph our newborn son and our two and a half year old toddler. We are absolutely delighted with the results. The photos are really, really good. Julia was so good with our toddler and baby — she has a real knack for dealing with kids and babies.
Her pricing was quite reasonable. She had a great attitude. The photos came out fantastic. What more could you ask for?

Julia’s beautiful photographs are just absolutely priceless and something my husband and I treasure for the precious moments Julia has captured of our family. Julia is not only a wonderful photographer to work with but she has a unique and superb talent for capturing the warmth and beauty of family moments. Julia was the first to photograph our son right after he was born and presented us with both stunning black and white and color images. We could not believe how beautifully she used the light and limited time with a newborn to achieve such amazing shots! We also had Julia shoot our son’s first birthday and again she gave us just an amazing collection of shots that really captured the spirit and happiness of the occasion. Julia is completely professional and extremely accommodating to work with. I can say I have worked with other photographers in the past and Julia’s amazing touch and eye for a unique moment stand out above the rest. We are looking forward to Julia shooting our family for many years to come!

My husband and I were lucky enough to meet Julia in the hospital shortly after our sweet girl was born. Immediately Julia made us feel comfortable as she offered to take a few pictures of our daughter and even a few family shots. The pictures she presented us with completely blew us away and we’ve been using her as our family photographer ever since! We even traveled back to NY after moving to Austin, TX in June 2013 so Julia could capture our daughter’s 1^st birthday pics! Julia has a great eye for capturing all of babies sweet expressions and I love how she utilizes natural light to do so. She’s always been accommodating in terms of meeting times and venues. We’ve shot in our apartment, Central Park and she even captured my daughter’s blessing ceremony which was so special to us! I cannot recommend Julia enough! She’s absolutely fantastic!!!

We had Julia photograph our 6 month old baby in our living room. They were very simple, we just shot her on a grey blanket on the couch under the living room window. This girl is a master of her craft. She captured the insane amount of adorable oozing from my baby, every shot was beautiful and sweet, soft and appropriate. Finally, she asked my husband and I to sit in a few shots with the baby. I was a haphazard mess still in my PJs with no makeup on and my husband looked like a character from Duck Dynasty yet somehow, miraculously, the pictures of us were beautiful, ATTRACTIVE, and oozing the joy and love of a new child. I can’t recommend her more.
