Specialties

We specialize in doing laundry. $ 0.95 per pound, no limit! we use liquid TIDE (HE) detergent, Suavitel softener, Resolve liquid for tough stains, Bounce or Arm and Hammer softener sheets, and Bleach (by customer request) all included in the price per pound.

We have high efficiency machines washers and dryers. They take 60 minutes to wash and 60 minutes to dry the garments. We use delicate cycle for underwear and delicate clothes or use hot, warm or cold water (by customer request).

Delvan specialize also in dry cleaning all type or garments.

We do pick-​up and delivery free!

Definitely the best option in the neighborhood, and definitely the best compared to various other drop-​off services I’ve used (local ones in the East Village and ones like FlyCleaners or Cleanly, neither of which I recommend). Pickup and dropoff services are convenient and friendly and my clothes are always clean, fresh, never stained and always washed – and dried – according to my directions. Hoping the quality never waivers because if it does I’m screwed.

DO NOT go here. They failed to deliver something on the agreed-​upon date, did not answer the phone when we called. We finally spoke and they were embarrassed to explain that there was difficulty in getting a spot off one of a dozen items of clothing. I asked why they didn’t call to just let us know and they had no response.
The husband was then angry that we brought over a hundred pounds of business since we had just moved and needed a lot of cleaning. Who gives dirty looks and grunts to new customers eager to give you business?!
Also, they RUINED our comforter. They stated they knew how to wash it and it came back with the inside mutilated and smelling weird. We brought back to Macy’s and got a full refund but as a courtesy they should have at least offered us our money back or offered to fix it. They told us to just go back to Macy’s.

Discovering delvan was probably one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. The service is friendly and very efficient, and I think affordable. They do a great job with the laundry and return it very neatly and organized. Really great place and would highly recommend!

Fantastic wash-​and-​fold laundry, easily the best I’ve found in my 5 years (and three neighborhoods) of living in NYC. As other reviewers have noted, the owners are friendly and attentive to detail. I would add that my clothes come back CLEANER when washed by Delvan than when I wash them myself at the laundromat.

Everyone has pretty much stated the truth! They are both wonderful and so accommodating even with last minute pickup/​dropoff requests! Because of sensitivity issues we provide them with our own detergent and they will even pick it up and replace it if you’re in a jam! Clothes always come out clean and very well folded.

great service. I call Gary, he shows up at my apartment about a half hour later with a smile and takes away my bag full of dry cleaning and shirts. He takes them somewhere mystical. I call him back a few days later, and he shows up again this time with all of my clothes clean! What?!? Yep. True story.

This is the greatest EVER! I am so happy with the service! The pickup/​dropoff times are so convenient for me after I get out of work. They called to make sure I would be home. They walked up the stairs to the second floor and met me at my door. They anticipated the change I would need and had it in hand before I even paid. It was only $ 34 for three HUGE bags of laundry. They were super nice. And my clothes are beautifully folded and clean!

This place is fantastic. They offer drop off, pick-​up and delivery, and are 15% cheaper than any other laundry in the vicinity. Additionally, the place is family-​owned & operated by an adorable couple who work extremely hard caring for your things. I am SO appreciative of the kindness & work they do. This place is a GEM!

Thank you to Delvan Dropoff Service, in September I had a last minute event and had to buy a dress and shoes last minute. I dropped off the dress around 4pm and had the dress ready for me at 5pm. They even let me change there since I don’t live in Brooklyn and the event was at 8pm. Thank you so much to Delvan Dropoff Service and their Staff!!!

I just can’t say enough good things! My husband and I recently relocated to Carroll Gardens from Manhattan and did not have a good experience with several nearby laundry services. After reading the glowing reviews, we decided to try Delvan’s despite it being several blocks out of the way (and across the BQE) from our apartment and daily commute. Gary & Yolanda asked whether we had any detergent allergies, if we preferred bleach in our whites, and were happy to deliver at any convenient time. Such a delight! Our clothes were pristinely clean and beautifully folded at a VERY reasonable price. LOVE!
