History

Established in 1987.

Marion Council started the business and had operated at the 922 Fulton Street location for 20 years. Now Marion has moved on to 2 other locations to service her long term client and to secure new ones.

Business Owner

Marion Council has been a pioneer in the Natural hair care business for over 20 years. She was one of the first entreprenuers to open a braiding Salon in Brooklyn long before the Africans came to do the business.

She was instrumental in getting the legislation passed for braiding license. She is also a State Board Examiner for any students taking the State Exam for Natural Hair licenses. Her work has been published in various hair magazines since 1995.

She prides herself on innovative hair designs and loc styling.

Her work is her passion.
