Specialties
At Digital Archiving and Photo Restoration by Bogframe, we take your photos, negatives and slides, scan and color-correct them and then burn them onto a CD or DVD so you can see them on your computer, tablet or digital picture frame instead of having them in a drawer or an album where you can’t see them. An extra copy of the CD/DVD to keep in a safety deposit box is also available. All photos fade over time, and the longer they sit, the more they fade. our combination of hardware, software and expertise can bring them back to life for you to enjoy for years to come for a price that won’t break the bank.
We offer two levels of scanning; a lower-resolution for those who will only be viewing their photos electronically and high resolution (archival quality) for those looking to preserve family memories for the long term and/or want to reprint or enlarge them. See our website www.bogframe.com for more details and samples.
History
Established in 2009.
Digital Archiving and Photo Restoration by Bogframe was established in 2009 when friends asked if I could scan a few family photos for them. A few turned into a hundred, a hundred turned into thousands and we were on a roll. Now, with upgrades to our hardware and software as well as training at the prestigious School of Visual Arts, we have scanned, color-corrected, digitally restored and archived well over 5,000 photos. When you watch the news and hear about how a house fire has destroyed everything the family owned including all their family photos, it should give you pause. Digitally archiving your photo collection and keeping a copy of the DVD in your safety deposit box will guarantee that, even if (G-d forbid) you should lose the physical photos, you will still have digital copies that can be seen on your computer, phone, tablet, digital frame or phone. Scanned at Archival Quality, they can even be printed to look like the originals. Don’t delay, have us archive your photos today!
