The staff is so friendly! Pick up service is extremely convenient. Dry cleaning comes back perfect every time as does laundry. Prices are good for the neighborhood.

Not sure why my review disappeared from this site. The machines are filthy as is the shop in general. They laundry pick up service is horrendous. They washed a winter coat that was in a closed, separate bag clearly labelled as dry clean. I also called and spoke with the owner and told her that there was a coat in a bag labelled for dry cleaning. The laundered clothes came back completely wrinkled because they had been allowed to sit wet, waiting for a dryer, for hours. I know this is what happened because I saw piles of laundry this way when I went in to complain about the coat and clothes. None of the laundered clothes seemed really clean. I have since discovered that there are other lousy laundry services out there, but none are quite as lousy as this one. However, interestingly, the other laundries wash the same amount of clothes, for much less because when the other laundries weigh the clothes, they miraculously weigh less. The owner is very «sweet» until there is a problem and then you see the real Rima and it ain’t pretty.

Best laundromat in Brooklyn hands down. So friendly, never screw anything up, and the clothes always come out perfect. Can’t recommend them enough. They’re the best!

Good, friendly laundromat and drop-​off service. Sept 2015: $ 3 wash, 25cent dry 6mins. Avg loads may only need 75cents to $ 1 to dry. I think they have dry cleaning service too. Some washers taken up by lady serving drop-​off clients. Don’t come expecting to get 4−5machines at once– may be too crowded. Coffee shop next door. Old machines. Small place but gets it done.

I absolutely love the staff. Everyone is very sweet, welcoming, and helpful.
Boyfriend and I noticed rips in our dropped off clothing, so we started doing our own laundry here. Still found rips, so we examined the dryers we used and found a hole with peeled back, jagged edges in the mesh of two of them, which must have snagged and torn at the clothing while tumbling. Mystery solved!
I found the prices to be quite steep– I’m used to $ 1.50 for a single loader, $ 2.50 for double, $ 4.00 for the industrial size and $.25 for 10 minutes of dryer time. But, I suppose that’s because I didn’t live in a trendy part of Brooklyn.
The fact that it is the ONLY laundromat in this area and the people who work here are super pleasant, we still do our laundry here (inspecting every dryer) when we’re not up for driving to a spacious 24 hour place after work (it’s really difficult for us to meet the hours on weekdays).

Yay! Haven’t had a problem with laundry so far, and prices are really reasonable — was $ 12.50 for 11 pounds of laundry, twice. Always nicely fresh and folded neatly (with matched socks!) everytime I go, free pickup and delivery and the women running the place are super nice. As long as I’m still in the area I’ll keep on going!

I’m new to wash and fold because I prefer to do my own laundry but recently moved into an apartment with no washer/​dryer. I found Dirt Busters because of the good reviews and gave them a call last night. Spoke to a very nice lady who asked for my address, which I gave her, and then asked me to call again in the morning for pick-​up. I had all my laundry ready and called again this morning to speak to a different woman who was much more reticent and basically refused to give me service and said that my apartment was too far (I live about 3 blocks up, 3 blocks over). Like I said I’m new to this, so maybe it is too far, but she was kind of rude and basically gave off a vibe of «we don’t want your business». I just wish the first lady had felt the same way so I could have called elsewhere and didn’t waste this morning pick up window.

As a visitor to Brooklyn I wasn’t sure what to expect, however this place more than met my expectations. This place is cozy, and has nearly 20 washers and about 10 dryers, although the sign says «More dryers coming soon».
It’s been a long time since I’ve had to leave my house to do laundry, and so the price (as of Oct. 7, 2014) of $ 2.50 for a small load and 25¢ per six minutes to dry seemed a little steep, but it could also just be the average price of doing laundry in New York.
The two women who work here are friendly and greeted me along with all of the regulars that came in like we were old friends.
If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely come back to use their facilities.
*Bonus, there’s a cute little coffee house right next door with plenty of space to use your laptop and enjoy a cuppa while your clothes get clean!

I’ve always been into doing my own laundry and not using laundry services. But then I fractured my wrist, and then my mainstay laundromat shut down, and so I began using these guys for laundry service regularly over the past few months.
The first time I thought this was the best thing I’d ever experienced. For about $ 12, my laundry was delivered to my door under 10 minutes after I called, everything folded and sorted, even my socks matched together. I was overjoyed. Then I learned they’ll even do special requests — and I’m crazy about air-​drying a good number of items, so I was excited that they would accommodate me. They would deliver my air-​dried stuff separately, hung on hangers, in a plastic bag, as if it were dry cleaning.
Things started to go downhill after my 3^rd or 4^th experience here, though, and have not improved. First, I started to notice that it seemed like each time I dropped my stuff off, it was getting more and more expensive, for the same amount of clothing (most recently it was $ 19). Second, my air-​dried items have never been actually dry when they’ve been delivered, except for that first time. I still have to take everything off the hangers and out of the plastic and hang it on my own drying rack. I learned this the hard way one day when I received my delivery in the morning before work, threw the clothes on my bed without taking them out of the bag, and didn’t get a chance to hang them until almost 2 days later. When I removed the plastic, everything was still very damp and starting to smell mildewy. I was disappointed but figured it was mostly my fault for letting it sit. But then the next time I had the laundry done, I immediately hung all the damp stuff to dry — but it still had that same mildewy smell even so. I also think the detergent they use isn’t particularly good, as even my normally dried clothes have begun smelling a little gross. (I’m told that one could drop off one’s own detergent with one’s clothing, but I haven’t done this.)
Finally, although I live probably less than half a mile away, and had almost immediate deliveries the first few times, there have been at least two occasions where I’ve had to wait at least 20 – 30 minutes for the laundry to be delivered. The worst time was when I called at 8am, as I usually do, figuring the delivery would be made by about 8:15 and I could then leave for work. When no one had shown up by 8:30, I called again to ask whether the delivery man had left yet, because if not, I would cancel the request as I had to leave for work. The man who answered the phone said «Oh, no he’s still here, he was going to leave in about ten minutes.» I’m sorry, but when I call at 8:00 am and ask for delivery, it’s not great service when the delivery person isn’t even planning to head over until 8:40.
In spite of all of this, the woman who owns this place is very sweet and has recognized me on sight even though I haven’t been coming here all that long. I just wish the service continued to be as great as it was when I first started using it!

Amazing! My friends and I are visiting from Colorado and we really needed to do laundry. Not only was this laundry convenient but the owner made us feel very welcome. She was beyond kind! The prices are very reasonable and the service was unbeatable!

Love how easy, and personable this place. They knew my name after the first time I came here and have been so kind and accommodating every since. Reasonable prices and fast service! I always do drop off and would never go anywhere else.

This place is AMAZING. I would give them 10 stars if I could! (Imagine the motivation it takes to log on to Unilocal to review a laundry place — seriously.)
My husband and I have used them for years, and I could not imagine anyone doing a better job with our laundry. They are also the kindest people ever, from the owner Rima (sp?) and her son, to the delivery guys Cesar and Luis. Everyone is just amazing.
And they do a METICULOUS job with your laundry. I always have a separate bag of delicates, within which are things I want dried on low heat and things I want hung dry. They got it right every time.
Try them once, and you’ll be a convert, I promise!

This is a fantastic place. I’ve been using their drop off service for 5 or more years now — my clothes always come back clean and folded and I’ve never had a single issue. What makes this place special is the service — great, friendly people working there and who will always try and accommodate you if they can if you’re, say, a little late for the same day service or need something washed twice. A proper neighborhood place!

I have been using this coin laundromat and dry cleaners for several years now and I have been very happy with their service.
As my schedule got busier I decided to try their drop off laundry and dry cleaning service with free pick up and delivery. Their delivery guy is always on time and very courteous. The drop off laundry comes back clean and nicely folded. Dry cleaning service is also high quality.
Their prices by the pound and for dry cleaning are very reasonable for the area and the quality of service that they provide.
I have recommended this laundromat and dry cleaners to several people in my building and they have all been satisfied with the service as well.

Been coming here two years now and I really like it. The people who work here are great. I’ve never dropped my laundry off, always just do it myself. The prices are fine (pretty standard). It feels like community.

I love this place. Have been coming here for 12+ years, have always had a good experience. They are always really friendly, and as another poster mentioned, greet you by name. They also go way above the beyond– for example, whenever I drop my shower curtain off they have to wash it twice since the stains are so hard to get rid of– but they still just charge per pound (which means the second wash is free). They’ve also on occasion given me credit if I forgot to bring enough money. I make sure to pay them back because they’re awesome. The owner is a total sweetie.

Maybe staff has changed since the last person wrote their review, but I’ve found the staff to be completely wonderful. They always greet me with a smile, and they even recognize me and remember my address, even after just a few months.
They do a great job with my drop off laundry, and I find their prices totally reasonable.
