They revamped the space recently so it looks nice and new. The food is consistently great(their chipotle chicken salad is YUM!) Domingo is a great guy who’s owned the place for over 37 years now so everyone in the area knows and loves him and the sheer variety of products at his store is impressive. Check it out if you’re in the area.

Domingo is great. A fine gentleman. The other woman who works there is just awful. Cares more for her phone than your presence. Prices are fair but I can’t stand that lady. Left me standing for minutes in an empty store while she checked out her TV guide sched on her phone.

Last week’s Bushwick Block Party shut down a few hours early, sending droves of hipsters onto the neighboring streets. My friends and I sought refuge in the nearby Dominguez bodega, and our toughest decision that whole night was between a $ 7 deluxe burger, $ 5 sandwich, $ 3.2524oz Sam Adams, or a $ 3.5040oz Bud Light. «…We’ll take one of everything please.» Twenty minutes and twenty bucks later, the three of us left with appetites satiated and thirsts quenched — a perfect refuel before heading over to The Narrows for the next chapter of our evening.
