I shouldn’t have come back. Ugh… I got one of the worst haircut of my life. The guy that cut my hair (he reeked of cigarette smoke) totally disregarded what I asked for and did his own thing. The result? An overly layered haircut in the front with a long, thick «tail» in the back. It was so bad that I was traumatized to even go back and have them fix it. I wore my hair in a pony tail for the next two months until it grew enough to have it fixed at another salon. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place.

I totally recommend this salon! The place looks way more upscale than many other salons in the area. They offer quality and very affordable prices, and the staff is very skilled and knowledgeable!
I love the 20 minutes shampoo with head and neck massage! A real treat!
John Lee is a new addition to the team! He is fantastic! What a talent! He really knows how to transform my hair from blahhhh to WOW!!!

Been here since they opened and absolutely love it! They seem knowledgeable and offer unsurpassed service. The place definitely looks significantly more upscale than the other salons in the neighborhood. I’ve been having the Japanese thermal straightening and my sister has the Keratin treatment. They know what they’re doing! I appreciate the fact that they are honest and tell me when something cannot be done! I also like the fact that they accept walk-​ins! I highly recommend!!!

I’m a salon snob but I’ve recently started growing my hair so I can go to cheap places and not spaz out when they botch my hair. I really enjoyed the head massage during the 15 – 20 min. shampoo. The «stylist» didn’t do an amazing job, but I got a basic trim which is all I needed. He didn’t pay attention to where I part my hair, which is kinda basic to me. But he also just took a dusting off the ends which is exactly what I wanted. Also, I knocked them down a star for adding a credit card surcharge (90 cents) without having any obvious signs posted.

Most definitely one of the LOWER END SALONS IN BAY RIDGE. I would never go back to this salon again. They are not friendly and do not have enough knowledge on hair coloring. They can only do basic cuts and basic coloring, if you ask for anything beyond that, they pretend to understand and promise to give you what u want but then the results are not great at the end. I had a big disagreement with the owner because I was not happy with my highlights. The owner showed no remorse, luckily I was able to call my credit card company and tell them what happened, they did not release the payment to the salon because I did not receive the service I paid for. Any female, especially the ones from Bay Ridge know how important beauty is and would never settle for MEDIOCRE services. Such a shame that they have such a poor salon in a fancy neighborhood.

First time coming here and I must say that the service is great. The lady washed and massaged my hair for 15 – 20 min and even gave me a neck massage. Pure Bliss!!! Danny is a very skilled stylist an very quick. He uses two blowers simultaneously. Ice ever seen anyone do that. I was impressed. Prices are very affordable. Will definitely be returning.

This is a late posting, I went to this salon during the summer of last year. I have very curly hair, and asked for a wash and blow dry straight. ummmm, the stylist used two hair dryers to blow dry my hair? and it was not straight at all. it was damp. I had to go home and re-​do my hair on my own.

I always come for my eyebrows because they do a great job.
However everytime I have been going back the service has been getting worse and worse. They spilled black hair dye on my red pants. Tried fixing it and it never came out. I was there for 5 hours. No joke. For red highlights, dark dye, wash, and cut. Which was supposed to be layered…
I came back ten days later to get my hair curled and the lady says your hair is hard bc it’s not layered… WTF!!!
I’m pretty sure I sat in a chair for hours on end and it was supposed to be layered. Now I am here trying to get it curled and two stylist have had to work on my hair bc the first had no idea what she was doing .
I am so disappointed in dragon fly and I will only come back if the owner (will, I think) does my hair. Oh and I have long straight «white girl» hair. Lol it’s soft thick, long dark brown. I always get comments on it so it’s not like I have raggitity hair.

I’ve been getting my haircut & blow outs here since they opened & have never been disappointed. The shampoo/​head massage is amazing. But all in all what else can you ask for: great prices, good service, and flipping gorgeous hair. It’s a deal anyday, even just to get a wash/​blow out. My hair always looks good walking out of here.
With virgin hair I recently had a dye job earlier this summer (see photo). They did not disappoint; with my research (example photos & a consultation 3 days prior) I had the best experience/​result. They use matrix color & have a sample book to match.
